Any chance we go and see if Dell wants to come home? Assume we’d have to throw a lot at him.

Pogue. He was only hired by Auburn to sign Jeremy Johnson.
Gus retained him in 2013 to be the director of high school relations to help keep the 2013 class together as Gus was putting together his on field assistants after taking the AU job.
JJ was in the 2013 class.
Now I'm sure Pogue & JJ had a prior relationship but given JJ was a freshman at Carver when Pogue left Carver I highly doubt he was hired by AU to sign JJ.

Jay G Tate is actually hearing Addison Williams may be leading candidate as well. Current defensive analyst at Auburn.

Generally I don’t mind hiring alumni. I do prefer that we hire alumni with experience elsewhere first though. Like a T Rob or with Bama, Freddie Roach.

There would be absolutely zero problems pulling him from Coastal Carolina if he was who we wanted.

While true, I’m thinking if he had a real shot, we would’ve held onto him little longer.
