Yes, but the effect on these players and the team overall could be extremely detrimental.

Something tells me 18-19 year old kids walking around campus with vast sums of money might not turn out very well for these programs.

Then how does the company make any money off of its investment? Seriously, companies that do this legit are there to see profit, otherwise we know it is a payoff

Hell, so did Jimmy Buffet. Maybe we can get some players recording deals?

Big Boi's daughter, and Kanye West's mom went to Auburn too! Maybe they can also help get players recording contracts?

Octavia Spencer went to Auburn! Maybe she can help get players movie roles?

Donda got her doctorate from Auburn in 1980. Kanye was born in 77

That means there was probably a little toddler Yeezy running around Auburn back in the day

There will be 8-10 schools in general that will set up NIL programs and absolutely dominate recruiting. It hurts my soul to say this but I dont think Auburn will be one of them.

This recruiting cycle is a "put your toe in the water" situation. Next year, there will be things in place that will totally change the atmosphere of recruiting if the system is not changed.

I believe this is, currently, the future of college football. Smaller market teams, with smaller alumni bases will fade. You'll have 10-12 teams with the big NIL $ dominating recruiting every year.

Yup. The Gap between the haves and the have nots is growing. I just hope Auburn can keep up.

But do we really want to keep up? if you say yes then what are you doing to contribute? (Not Directed at any one in particular but if you want us to keep stepping up etc, some of you will have to start pitching in to get it done)

Of course we want to but we simply don't have the resources available to some other programs.

That new NIL deal is going to give the average fan an opportunity to do just that.

I still think the NIL deal will be a cup of water to a forest fire. It's a step in the right direction, while other schools will be on the moon.

Auburn a year later, ha ha we have the fastest car on the road. Hey Texas A&M, what is that you built over there in that field?

Texas A&M, well we call the place the Redstone Arsenal, see we are gonna build, ah nevermind you boys wouldnt understand....boy that sure is a purdy car ya got there.

Auburn revenue has to be top 20, right?

Auburn athletics streamlining the budget and redirecting contributions etc to a NIL system gets us there

Programs that can be NFL/NBA pipelines + exposure will provide non monetary value.

These kids may be 18 but their agents get it.

I don't think so, not everyone is going to be marketable to the Milo's teas, Bojangles, or [insert regional brand]. This gives everyone at least a slice of the pie

A very small slice of the pie.

Put it this way, Texas AD brought in $200mil in revenue compared to Auburn's $150mil

Imagine if UT redirected that $50m difference to NIL company that paid their 85 players. That would be almost $600,000 per player

That isn't even insane when you think about it. Take $50mil in contributions and encourage the donors to send to NIL company
