You’ve probably noticed IPA is diverse style within itself. What have you liked about the ones you’ve had so far? There’s a lot of different directions you could go in
My package store only offers a small variety. I love sweetwater IPAs though. Not so much freckle belly but it’s the local beer by back forty. Do you recognize either?

Seriously, it's my favorite style. They all taste a little different, but they are all good to me. Good People IPA is the standard I judge all IPAs by now. It's very good and what an IPA should be: a bitter, up front, hoppy beer.
I’m trying to branch out, so I’ll definitely search for it.

Where are you located? Can they not sell beer at grocery stores?

I live in Gadsden now. Have lived all over North Alabama though.
I only see a few lagers, some spiked seltzers, some local stuff, and mainstream beers in the stores. I generally only go to closest stores surrounding my neighborhood though.

I know those.
Freckle belly is one of the more assertive hoppy IPAs in the state, IMO. Sweetwater IPA, on the other hand, has a nice bitterness with a citrusy balance.
For IPAs, freshness is king. I prefer cans to bottles due to the effects of sunlight and getting it cold is likely to give you a better beer. In general, the bottles on the shelves tend to stray from what you taste on tap at the source.
I’d try anything you can find with those parameters. I don’t rely on IBUs but for getting started they’re often helpful if you can find them on the label or online. I’d aim for 50-75

I’d go for Naked Pig over freckle belly. That’s an IPA that’s sold as a pale ale. Much more approachable and super refreshing.
I missed a wedding once because I lost track of time at their brewery in downtown Gadsden

Yes indeed.FB was little too bitter for me, but I’ve yet to pour a beer out.

Is there a major in beer making?
Could we feature University made beer?

Publix or Wal-Mart should have Good People IPA if you are looking to try that one.

I love Gadsden, but there’s not much there. Go to Back 40 and get the beers on draft. It’ll be fresher and the taste will be a lot different than what you get in the store. IPAs are meant to be drank fresh as another poster stated.

Bump. Are we selling alcoholic beverages catered for the poors consumption yet?

Don’t drink or have any more kids and you’re good.

It’s easy money waiting to happen. Maybe when we decide to make some stadium upgrades, whenever that is, we’ll toss some beer specific concessions in there. Hopefully we make some improvements soon, can’t have Protective Stadium looking nicer than JHS!

What’s the net profit on that revenue?

Contrary to public belief, combating the unruly drunks has been a problem for decades
I'd argue selling alcohol will decrease problems overall with unruly drunks. With people knowing they can get drinks inside, they won't speed run through as many minis/beer before they walk in.
Can always refuse service to a clear drunk person too.

Fermentation Science.
I know Middle Tennessee offers it. Not sure which others do.

I believe AU’s new culinary science center will be teaching it to some extent as well.
