Why can't AU86 make a thread that isn't a cliffhanger?

Good question. Campbell in '04. Cam in '10. Brandon Cox for a season? Other than that, it's sucked in the last decade.

We haven't been able to keep an OC for a long period of time other than Malzahn and Borges

Blame on that one falls squarely on Tubs. The OC was always the one to take the fall and Tubs had no issues throwing them under the bus even though the offenses were eerily similar coordinator to coordinator.

The only way to truly develop a QB outside of mechanics is game experience. People need to chill and let the season run its course. Frazier is getting better and more confident every week, albeit in small steps. Give the kid some more time.

I agree with that. going to another quarterback isn't going to be an instant fix for us but I also wouldn't mind seeing Wallace come in and run the full offense. My issue with Frazier right now isn't his mistakes, it is that he doesn't seem to be getting more comfortable. He still seems rushed and nervous. Either way, we need to decide who our quarterback is for the rest of the year and the next couple years and get behind him and let them take their lumps.

I ll agree but I'll say this if Petrino stays for the 2003 season we win the NC. We were unprepared when he left.

We're in trouble if it takes all of our qb's in the future 2 years to get ready

His play improved from MSU to ULM to LSU week. Maybe not by much but it did improve.

Seems he makes the same mistakes week after week. I like the kid and really want to see him become a good QB. He still overthrows balls, looks down receivers, ignores open receivers, holds on to the ball too long, and for a mobile QB he is not good at escaping pressure.

So I am to assume with every game, he will improve on all these negatives?

On the bright side, he should be a solidly serviceable QB by 2021 at his rate of improvement

I see Kiehl. Improving from week to week. If you take out the State game, there's a clear progression from Clemson to ULM to LSU.

The one thing that worries me is that his faults are mental rather than coaching. He locks in on receivers, looks down at the rush, and has a tendency to try to do too much in certain situations. Some kids get past those things, and some don't. But that's what worries me.

Most Qbs are good against SC St, Arky(this year) and the other cream puff A&M played.

He looked like crap against UF in the second half.

How has he looked on the road? OH, yeah he hasnt played there yet.

It's pretty ridiculous that their first true road test will be at Auburn in their 8th game of the year. That's asking for disaster.

And I'm not counting OM as a legitimate road trip for obvious reasons.
