It’s less than 24 hours later, I’m sure we can allow some to continue to share their frustrations.

No one cares about losing one specific road game to Oklahoma.

Most care about continued unacceptable offensive performances by a coach who hangs his hat on offense.

Most see continued poor general management that shows up in constant terrible special teams play.

You wanted to go empty against that pass rush lol. They kicked our OL’s arse bad enough with a TE and RB in.

Yeah dumbass, it’s called spreading the defense out. If they don’t cover, they’re going to get burned. That also takes men out of the box to make the running game easier. You’re retarded

Corch, I get your perspective, but you come off like a giant arse when you come on here and want to lecture everyone. Nobody is going to hear what you are saying. It was a very tough loss.

I didn’t read anything else after the first few lines when you started in on everyone.

Point taken. It’s just ridiculous to call for firings after a tough arse loss. Calling out players and such. Maybe it’s the new social media world but everything isn’t the end of the world

These coaches are not new. ST guy should've objectively been fired yesterday.

Corch, literally nobody thought that this team would be undefeated, but this loss is highly worrying because in a lot of ways it had a lot of the same characteristics as virtually every other loss we have had under Freeze in games where we easily could have won, but ultimately choked. It would be one thing if Oklahoma just outplayed or out-talented us, but that didn't even happen.

We are not a very well coached team, and this has been a hallmark of Freeze during his entire tenure here. This was also apparent at Liberty where they lost a bunch of headscratcher games. You have an absurdly experienced OL and they all of a sudden can't line up properly or time the snap? That is coaching. Yes its "loud", but all of these guys have dozens of starts under their belt. Every opposing SEC stadium is going to be loud. Boneheaded special teams penalties and decisions is coaching.

There are serious problems with his offense. He appears to have once again picked a QB who doesn't "get it". So either the offense is flawed, or his coaching staff doesn't know how to teach it, or he doesn't know how to evaluate a QB who can run it successfully. None of these are good signs moving forward. What is up with the QB and WR's being out of sync randomly at the most inopportune time? At least once a game we have a big play or TD that is missed because the WR has slowed down on a route, or the QB is antsy and overthrowing a wide open receiver. By this point in the season you should be able to convert a wide open pass 95% of the time. Not 50% of the time. You only get 1-2 of those per game, if that.

What? This board was in total meltdown yesterday.

Most of the people who predicted we were going to get stomped were some of the ones melting the worst.

First, I am as disappointed in the loss as anyone. I feel frustrated because this feels like the same ol’ thing, but am going to muster some positivity.

The defense overall held what the media is pushing as the heisman front runner to 24 of 36 and only allowed 34 yards running. Overall, I was impressed with our defense.

It was 10-10 at half, and probably should have been 10-3 or 10-6. We allowed 10 sacks, had 13 penalties and witnessed some of the most atrocious officiating ever but had the lead in the 4th quarter. We were absolutely in a position to win that game.

As has been discussed, Arnold holds the ball too long- and missed several wide open receivers. This also accounted for at least half of the sacks. He made two throws that should have been picks. His accuracy is still questionable- lots of high, short, long throws.

That said, as a basic game manager, he is an improvement over Thorne and we should be in every game on our schedule. Doesn’t mean we win but as inept as it looked at points, we were still in the game. I also think we abandoned the run too quickly.

Special teams continues to be an achilles heel. We have to be better there.

I agree this team could so be 9-3 at the end of the session. I would consider that great.

I think we should have tried more deep passes in the first 3 games to help JA get his timing down with Coleman. As bad a we played at times, had they hit on the two overthrown TD passes this game probably ends with us winning.

You go into the season hopeful but realistic and you tell yourself we’ll have 3 losses maybe. And you’re good with it. Then that loss happens and you really aren’t good with it. You see that the other team wasn’t some world beater and you could have won. You see that some players or position groups screwed up a lot. You see the refs absolutely put the screws to us.

All that adds up and then you sprinkle or pour emotion on it and you get folks freaking out. Everyone is already a lot calmer.

I don’t like Freeze and don’t have faith in him, but it’s too early in the season to fire up the torches. But, like Jang said, the damn ST coach could get his arse on out the door. He’s stealing money.

Apparently I'm the only one who thought the OL did a decent job in pass protection. Most QBs are taught to have a 2.5 sec. internal timer but ours held the ball for 3.5 or more many times. Imo, at least half the sacks were on JA.

Still giving up 5 is not a good performance from an OL.

I said in an earlier thread that since the beginning of last season, they have grown and gotten better over time. We were supposed to have upgraded that group with the addition of Tackles out of the portal, but Chaplin had at least 3 false start penalties yesterday by himself. They have played better, but got their arse kicked yesterday.

My frustration comes from the 12 sacks and not having any answers. Whether it’s on the oline qb or WRs not getting open the staff has to identify it after #5 or so and adjust the play calling.

After sacks 7,8,9 that’s on the coaching IMO
