Plausible. However, Kam is not the answer. I am worried at this position.

I’d like to see how the OL graded out before I made any decisions on RB. Didn’t look like there was a lot of room to run today.

I bet Asa and Boone will be given trial runs this weekend. Gus felt like Kam could be trusted this week and he didn’t kill us. Boobee came up big and he’ll be rewarded, I bet.

Whitlow was not terribly impressive but I keep telling myself that he is new at the position. I think he needs to learn to run North and South which will come with experience

Washington was a top defense last year, after LSU we cab panic.

He does need more touches though

Yea, lets not totally melt yet. Its early. We could not run the ball early last year and we ended up Ok.

Lets see how they adjust

I’m just not going to be sold on a guy after 2 carries
I'll take the guy that did trucked a safety and scored a game winning TD in the process. Hold on to doubt, but this Whitlow train will keep on movin

Well Kam didn't do $hit on any of his carries

Kam finished with 22 carries for 80 yards, 3.6 YPC, 33 yards receiving on 5 receptions.

Whitlow finished with 8 carries for 28 yards, 3.5 YPC

Kam has the long 19 yard carry and Whitlow had the critical touchdown. I think there is room for both but the coaches need to define a role for them

I'm not sure Kam is better than Whitlow at any aspect of the game. He's... faster?

I didn’t add in the receptions but Kam is probably the better receiver of the two, making him valuable on 3rd downs. Whitlow had a catch and a drop and it’s too early to know what’s there in regards to his catching ability. He was a WR at some point

I don’t think we’ve seen enough to clearly declare one is better than the other.

Right now gut feeling is Whitlow but don’t know

I’d lean toward Whitlow being the better back for our offense. We need to see more of both with the coaches playing to their strengths versus using them interchangeably. Hopefully we’ll know who does what before LSU

Didn’t Whitlow also get the important LAST first down to run out the clock? He ran outside, paused, and then pushed aggressively forward.

Thought that was him.

It was a solid run when we needed it to just ice the game and take away any chance of a stupid thing happening.

So almost a 1/4 of his yards came on one carry? You're right, he killed it
