I'd like to see Asa Martin and Harold Joiner. I realize the coaches see these kids all day and can make better evals than we can, but I'd still like to see them get an opportunity to play.

I'm still concerned about Whitlow wanting to try and reverse everything. He looked like he was going to a couple times during the game and thankfully decided against it.

I think Shivers is going to be our best back. All 5'7" of him. His one run was almost as impressive as the Boobie TD.

I just learned that ASU gave up 273 yards on the ground to Tuskegee. Tuskegee averaged 5.9 yards If we cant produce at least two 100 yard rushers with a 5+ yard per carry average then I may get worried about the OL.

I'm in the rare camp of thinking Kam is going to have a good season. I was not thinking that before the game either.
Couple of things:
1. Kam looks significantly bigger and stronger without having lost his speed.
2. While he certainly did not run the ball very well in this game, his issues are VERY fixable just from watching film. I remember early in 2013 being worried about Tre and CAP, and we know how that turned out.. and same with Kerryon early last year.
Game experience and film helps running backs almost as much as any other position.
I did like some of what we saw from Whitlow as well.
I'm very confident one of these guys will emerge as the guy and will have an All-SEC type year as they gel with the offensive line.

Shivers definitely looked like a north and south kind of back. Doesn't look like hes afraid of contact either
