Josh Aldridge got hired by Hartline to be USF's new DC. He would be one I hope we track if/when Durkin leaves.

The staff page on the AU website has been updated with these announced hires. Also interesting is that Marcus and Crime are still listed.
I don’t see Kodi on there yet, I know he was announced as Assistant HC or Associate HC. I’m sure most would assume he would be WR coach, which not sure where that puts Marcus Davis.

"Pitt ranked 25th in the Power Four in terms of special teams efficiency, per ESPN’s College Football Power Index. In 2024, the Panthers were 38th overall in special teams efficiency."
Now that seems better than where we were. I can't ever find good comprehensive ST info on teams when I look.

More than likely gaining that info requires not only a subscription but premium services.

Marcus Davis.
They are trying to keep him so it has to be TE or RB coach. I would guess they are holding the TE coaching position open for him since the guy from Pitt was names ST coach only

This is interesting. Miss State is going back to the DC (Arnett) they fired as HC after Leach (RIP). Will need to see how he was regarded before he became Miss State's DC.
ETA: Looks like most of his experience has been coaching LBers and Special Teams.

Coleman Hutzler is clearly a Durkin hire. He was at Stanford and Florida while Durkin was there. He was even at Ole Miss at the same time as Durkin.

Recent stint with Saban. That's always a good omen.
Inherited Will Anderson's last year in college where he went from 17.5 sacks to 10. Probably had a little to do with other coaches gameplanning around him. But in the same breath I will say production dropped off all around.
Miss states pass rush got better each year underneath him.
Good not elite?

Just thrilled to death that DJ is going over and above to do what he thinks is upgrading the staff.

From reading some threads when MSU hired him, seems Bama fans liked him but it was kind of one of those maybe too early for him to be a coordinator type thing. Seen SC and Ole Miss fans say they think he is a very solid LB coach.

Anatoly's videos crack me up. Pretty sure I read he was a former Olympian though.

My barber claims he is a cousin. Said that his philosophy for being able to lift that much is that you start with a certain weight and add one ounce a day every day.
