The roof is caving in on LSU's coaching search.

But, yeah, Auburn's boosters meddle too much...

There are reasons to love and hate any active coach. Hiring a new HC is not a science so its really trying to make the best calculated guess on who will Win. The LSU situation definitely hasn't helped their situation and I hope Auburn can use it to our advantage.

Objectively there are 3 of the top 20 best jobs for a college coach open. They all will have equal chance of making a good or bad hire picking from the same crop. Time is the only way to tell who is a contender and who isnt.

That being said Dillingham is the obvious choice after Kiffen

Aw, hell, naw.

Aside from Sumrall, I will take a hard pass on that entire list.

With that list, he is just trying to agitate people, anyway. Well done, Pete.

I have zero information other than what I read on here and listen to on podcasts…

That said- is Drinkwitz at Missouri someone that is in the mix? His name seems to have popped up here and there.

I am neither for or against- just getting thoughts on whether Cohen is considering him.

WEP’s Top 5 Coaching Candidates - Wednesday 11/12/2025:

1. Jeff Brohm -> More likely FL, Penn St
2. John Sumrall -> Potentially a fit
3. Aleksey Golesh -> No word on him in the mix (so a Potential)
4. Tyson Helton -> Air Raid/west coast that can't hit 10 wins & hasn't been scooped up so far...makes you go hmmmm
5. Dabo Swinney -> Put the bottle down

Some fuzz around Dilly being interviewed but can't confirm yet...probably won't know...until it happens...but might be from Tulane...

Not dumb. Not alcoholic. I haven't had a drink in like a week.

Reminder about my list. #1 is the person I really want. #2-5 are just interesting names that come up and to be discussed.

My real #1 on record is Dan Lanning but I quit listing him every day as I didn't see much hope. Reading the lastest interview with Cohen, I'm going to bring him back tomorrow.

So, going forward #1 and #2 with be the one's I really want and 3-5 will be interesting names of note and gossip.

Keep this in mind when enjoying the daily list.

Thanks again,

Love Coach Prime but can't go there this time. His health is really bad, worse than he lets on I think, and it has shown this year. Don't think he is a viable candidate any more.

He is not in contention.

The populace has determined and is accepting of the fact that his "success" is simply from good fortune in that he hired a pretty decent offensive coordinator. Not much else there.

We all know it will be Durkin. The longer they pretend to be interviewing other people the more pathetic the hire will look

No. Been here too many times to know we will make a lazy,, underwhelming hire again. Be back here in 3 years, repeating the same process again. It's really a shame
