If we have to hire a P4 coordinator hire one from a successful program. Schumann from UGA is a much better candidate than DJ.
DJ has been part of many programs and most of them have been wildly unsuccessful. He has seen so many head coaches fired.

Yeah. At the very least you poach a coordinator who is at a successful school and roll the dice

At this point you need more than a hot shot coordinator. The problems run deeper than X's and O's. It's a losing culture that has been allowed to infect every aspect of the program. It's even trickled into part of the fanbase who just blindly cheer on this garbage. Until you hire a guy and give him the full authority to completely run off the program leeches and bums and install a winning culture, nothing will change. Interviewing candidates and dictating they need to retain leftover dog shite from the last grease fire is not going to solve the problem.

I wanted him to start with. If he can hire good coordinators we will be fine. This years available coaches are shite. Who is the home run? Kiffen is a clown and everyone else is unproven. Quit melting. It’s not a good look.

The stunt that AU pulled on Harsin I think has really fricked the reputation of the football program among coaches. Everyone who doesn't wear orange and blue glasses knows exactly what happened with that whole debacle.
