Then you should care who the coach is

The timeline has not changed. Not necessarily Durkin.

This can't be happening. Surely this cannot be happening.

I’m trying to get clarification rn.

As of an 2 hours ago I was told Golesh and Dillingham were both viable candidates.

Doubt we’d have moved off both them to signing Durkin in 2 hours, but who knows.

But that initial timeline was set back when they thought they had Sumrall in the bag. Now they are still holding that timeline, but it seems like Sumrall is out which means that it is very unlikely that they have had enough time to iron something out with a candidate not named Durkin.

LSU fans are arguing over number of Championships their coach wins and here we are arguing over how long before we're doing this again. Even if we save 8m a year on this Dollar Tree contract, I'm pretty sure being in the playoffs vs 5-7 would recoup most of the money. But, I'm not rich, so my opinion doesn't matter

It'll be even more hilarious when it comes out that we are paying 8 million

Yeah just thinking logically if they are moving that quick then it will be to announce Durkin.

Exactky. Durkin seems the most plausible given the timeline.

If Cohen wants to pull this shite out of the fire, you tell Dillingham you’ve written a check with his name on it, he just has to fill out the amount.

And you tell him you HOPE he will consider keeping Durkin as DC, but it’s 100% his call.

That would make us the big winners, outside of LSU (and in my opinion, better than LSU).

But I have zero faith that Cohen’s desire to pull this shite out of the fire exceeds his desire to hand Durkin the HC’ing job.

Yeah if he pulls off Dilly after seemingly fumbling Sumrall, that would be incredible. Hell, maybe Sumrall was a smokescreen the whole time. Who knows. I guess we will find out soon.

The only things that will get their attention is a half empty stadium and NIL donations drying up. There's a 100% chance we'll be in this same predicament in 2-3 years, hiring another shitty coach and then wash, rinse, repeat.

If Durka Durka gets promoted, I’ll be doing my part. NIL contributions will be cancelled immediately.

Jake Crain said it's Durkin and claims he "will tell a story tomorrow that will blow your mind." He says the coaching search has been far more chaotic than people believe.

I cancelled mine when the rev sharing went into effect. If we can't win with $20.5m a year in basketball and football investments then I'm not sure college football/sports is for me anymore.
