And if they want him, they'll likely get him, our idiot AD, despite saying he would do whatever it took to get their guy, has indeed, decided not to do whatever it takes. FL will just outbid us and they're prepared to let their new coach hire his own staff.

can we make them believe Merkins is the front runner so they'll make him an offer too?

But as HC he wasn't strategic enough.

God damn man, did he drop like 10 passes call roughing the passer that was BS on 3rd down twice, call PI on a 4th and 4 that was BS. I mean from a coaching standpoint and being prepared he did a hell of a job.

A 3 game sample is too small but the bottom line is that his HC record makes it pretty clear he should not be the choose.

I was proud of the effort he put in tonight but I think he is better suited as a DC

Well clock management doesn’t matter when your higest paid player fumbles,

And if he had went for it and didn’t get at least three you would have bitched too.

It was horrible. Also horrible that Coleman wasn’t told or didn’t know to get out of bounds. Playing with fire with the clock even if he didn’t fumble.

Yeah I agree. I understood his approach of going all in on that one drive and trying to score with minimal time left, but I only like that if we have a legit offense. We put up good numbers tonight but it was a result of scratching and clawing for every yard.

Not really, we had plenty of time and three times outs. We were playing to keep Bammer from having any time left

Durkin was a great DC tonight fellas

Gave up 17 first half points.

Allowed Bama to almost eclipse their per game rushing average in the first half.

I wouldn't call that great.

It's not a binary result thats the problem.

He had plenty of time to run a couple plays before settling for a FG try. He didnt. That's loserball

That's not on any HC. That is on the payer and his position coach. That's like blaming a HC for the ball going between the RB's hands for an int..

JGT said he got a text during the game that said FL was reaching out to Golesh. UF seems to be just copying off our paper this search. Those idiots

At least they’re smart enough not to consider Durkin unlike Auburn though.

This was not on DJ. I cant say that I want him as Head Coach but this game was not on him. This game was on the players. And I dont think it was on Daniels. He left it all out there. Receivers and backs cost us. Our defense played about as good as they could as well.

We did not get any breaks from the refs and we made too many mistakes on the field.

Wasnt on DJ

Agree 100. We needed to take a TO right after the play before coleman’s fumble but I’m not going to be overly critical about it either.

If nothing bad that happened is because of Durkin what did he do well? Did he just call a good defensive game? Because he has been doing that for like a decade now and yet is not a head coach anywhere.
