My damn emotions are everywhere. I wanted Durkin when we fired Freeze and nothing to do with Sumrall. Now I’m the opposite. WTF. I didn’t want him until we had him. Now I’m sad?

I was OK with Durkin being HC, but not like this. Our dumbass boosters get a hard-on for any DC that has a good season or two. We're one of the only schools to try and force coordinator hires on people. It's bitten us in the arse before, but we never learn. Sumrall leveraged Florida to try and get 1-2m more out of us and we walked away. We have been one of the worst programs in the SEC for 6 years now. Pay him. We have no leverage. The whole thing is just unbelievably dumb.
