Cohen better go camp out on Dan Lanning’s doorstep like Mal Moore did with Nick Saban
pretty sure it was Sexton calling Moore up after word that Bama was set to hire RichRod and saying “WTF are you doing, clown? Saban wants out of Miami, dont blow your chance”

I specifically remember Cohen saying a couple of weeks ago that he had been reached out to by a number of sitting college football head coaches about the job.

This is probably true, but to get their name in the news so they can get an increase and extended contract.

I think this is a lie that they tell every time we have a search. That's what made me think of ironpuppets' list. They always say they are conducting a search and talking to many candidates.

I think it is all bullshite. I think the only thing they considered was Sumrall and DJ as a backup and they proceeded to fumble Sumrall. We heard Sumrall's name from the very very beginning. Go look at page 1 of this thread. That was a name that was leaked out and making the circles from the get go.

Who knows if Cohen had any power in this or if it was the same people it always is. But, how can grown arse adults not realize, that if you dictate staff to a coach, and another good program comes along and does not, you're going to lose the coach.

The inside story of a toxic culture at Maryland Football

Can we not just hire someone who doesn't have baggage?

Please.

Right, I’m just saying it would make sense for an agent to make a call to the AD to oil their clients rails to a raise and extension. I think that happens every chance an agent can get.

hen I voiced my concern about this last week, I was assured that any HC would love being handcuffed to a DC the caliber of Durkin.

A lot of folks on here would like to have Kiffin. He has enough baggage to fill a semi truck

Yeah, not only is Durkin a proven loser HC, he also has a past scandal that will require Auburn to yet again hire a PR firm to defend.

I’m thinking of dropping this breaking LSU coaching search news in a new thread on coaching search board. I would appreciate you all helping me get reinstated down the line of if I hit submit.

Kiffin will remain at Ole Miss and LSU is now turning their focus to Brent Keys and Lincoln Riley. It is being reported Kiffin feels he can make a run with this team for a NC to finish the season. it is also being reported LSU may look at Dabo Swinney should the other two fall through.
