What Did You Do to Win the Iron Bowl

Well, I know our team has heart, guts and executed our game plan, but I'm pretty sure I helped seal the Iron Bowl victory.
Mrs Slacker bought me a new navy sweater to wear to the Iron Bowl. This was a completely untested garment. I couldn't in good conscience wear this, because the loss would fall directly on me. I devised a plan.
Deep in the recesses of my closet, hidden from the future Goodwill donations hanging there, was my 2010 game day shirt. I grabbed it and placed my new sweater inside of the shirt, to marinate in the championship juujuu that remained. I was ridiculed by my wife and children, but it was worth it.
Also, while losing my voice in the upper deck, I flipped the bill of my lucky hat, the same way I did before the Prayer in Jordan Hare. We drove down the field and scored to tie with seconds left. I left the bill flipped for what seemed like an eternity, while bama drove, ran out of time, reviewed the play, kicked, and the run back.
The added pressure of the bill flipped, coupled with the 3 hours of yelling my guts out, was nearly too much to take. I was pretty sure I was bleeding from my ears at one point. I soldiered on, no matter how bad my head was pounding. We won, you're welcome.

Road around all season with a Bammer tag on my Tahoe.

Had my sister in law over she's a bammer and every time they lined up for the FG tries I kept saying shank shank shank shank and by gosh it worked.

Ate the shite of some boiled peanuts. Avoided certain unlucky articles of clothing. Sat down after going down 21-7.....this worked in 2010.

I set the TV volume on '14' when Auburn has the ball. It's on 13 when the other team has possession. lol

Kept my ratty looking moustache and beard. Haven't shaved since the LSU game, seems to be working so I'm all for looking trashy for Auburn to win.

Yelled at the top of my lungs at the video screen in Auburn arena, it was too much for bama to overcome.

Blocked the field goals with my hand/telekinesis. You're welcome.

Wore the same thing I wore to the UT game in Knoxville - blue 2010 BCS long sleeve t, with blue Atlanta Auburn club short sleeve t over it. After halftime pulled on my blue AU hoodie.
I think my mom was the lucky charm. We were walking down the hill into the WDF parking lot across from McDonalds and she found a penny, said it was a good luck charm. Later on in the morning she found another, and had them in her pocket rubbing them together on the FG return.

For all games this year, except LSU and WSU, I have watched the vast majority of the games. But at the end, if close, I have simply gone elsewhere and put my faith in the destiny. Saturday, I was watching youtube videos of kids getting puppies for christmas when I heard my folks freaking the hell out upstairs.
You're welcome auburn fans.

I wore my cam newton jersey with paint and a hole in it into JH stadium along with my lucky boston red sox hat. WDE

I wore my Boston baseball cap. We have won every game I have had it on this year, so it's going to be a staple of mine in the future. I told the wife it isn't getting thrown away.

Yeah my boston cap is about a decade old and looks good for it's age but it's definitely not fresh, and I don't care.

I found my lucky shaker. I bought it during the 2010 Homecoming Game. It's sparkly, and full of good vibes. I was also present at this game.
Also, I never realized how many Auburn fans were also Red Sox fans
Good to know that I'm not the only one.

I sat in the same spot as the uga game, made my wife stand in the same spot too. Made sure I wore the same auburn shirt also.

GF was the superstition coordinator this game. Wouldn't let me sit down for the second half. It worked.

I shouted "Shank it" at my TV every time foster went out to kick. Obviously my bad juju got sent with a quickness through the tv straight in to his head.

I wore my Rays hat as I have done for every game except LSU where I left it at home.

Wore the same jersey as I have all year. I only wear it game day, and it has been washed once... After the LSU game . I also drank heavily and directed "frick you Saban" cheers in the bar.
