At this moment, Bo and Patrick Nix have the exact same amount of passing yards and also the same completion percentage.
Their whole stat line is eerily similar...

Joey Gatewood only has 6 more passing yards than Carnell Williams.

Carnell had that sweet half back pass vs UGA in 2004

Ryan Davis has the 3rd highest passer rating in school history, and highest passer rating of any player who's attempted more than one pass.

I would have never guessed CJ Uzomah had 4 career pass attempts. I dont remember a single one. And I used to really keep up with AU football back then.
Also, is Lloyd Nix (#27 on that list) Bo's Grandpaw?

Remember sacks count against individual rushing stats in college.

Yea I know. It's just astounding to see he got sacked/rushed for a loss enough to cover four football fields...

Glancing at ESPN game stats for his career, he only finished 10 games not with negative rushing yards, 3 of those he had 0 rushing attempts for 0 yards, and the most yards he ever ran for in a single game was 14 yards against ULM in his first ever college action.

If we're talking about Brandon Cox, remember he had feet of molasses. He was one of our most accurate passers, but if he had to move out of the pocket, he was toast.
But he was good at moving around in the pocket to extend the play with a pass.

That's the Brandon Cox I remember..
Revisionist history has painted him as some sort of Auburn all-timer as time tends to do. But when he was QB all anyone could talk about was getting rid of him.
To be fair, he was a tough dude and I appreciate how he gritted out some tough wins for us but it was rarely pretty.

The 2006 AU/LSU game ruined him

The Georgia Tech game broke my heart right off the bat.

Brandon Cox was amazing in 2005 outside of the GT game where Borges asked too much of him in his first start. Also the bowl game but I’m pretty sure he was hungover/still drunk from the night before along with several other players.
He was pretty hit or miss in 06 & 07.

I remember the pick he threw against UGA in ‘11.

Yeah you're right, he was pretty solid in 2005. I know at some point early in 2006 his shoulder basically died and that may have had something to do with his struggles after that.

One 3k passing season and Bo will be in second place all time at Auburn.
