We had a very good and highly efficient passing game with Cam. 2017 Stidham was pretty good. Before that, Jason Campbell in 2004. All 3 played in NFL

Yes. Cam was a different breed. Stidham was pretty good but I don't feel he got used to his full potential. And, yeah, I forgot about Campbell being in the league for a while. I loved Campbell, he took a couple seasons to get going but really turned it on.

We need more like Campbell and Stidham. But we also need competent WR's to go along with them.

Panicky? Were we watching the same game?

Name a team we've beat where Nix played well away from JH, in front of a hostile crowd.

The next time, will be the first time. He's just not a good QB.

He's in his 3rd year. His dad is a former P5 OC, he's been coached by several different P5 OCs, and he still throws dirtballs and can't hit the deep ball. If he plays away from the comfort of the home crowd, he pumps his feet like he's auditioning for Dancing With The Stars. Go back and watch his play at the away games, dude has issues that seem like they can't be corrected, and I'm sure it hasn't been from a lack of trying.

I'll have what your drinking if it makes me forget what I saw! I pointed it out early in the game with the people I was watching it with. Then ABC show the replay in slo mo. Looked like he was trying to kill a bunch of spiders with his feet!

What game did you watch?

Bo played plenty well enough for a win. We had drop after drop. He threw an easy TD pass to Robertson and he is still looking for it. Shed dropped at least two. There were at least two more that hit the WR in the hands and they were drops. Sorry, that's not on Bo.

Bo sucks. There is no way around it. We all wanted him to be great but he sucks.

There are a lot of football analysts this morning thinking Bo played one of his best games in his career. There is a definite reason you are not a coach.

We lack talent at receiver.

Nix throws a terrible ball. On target maybe 20-30% of the time. Has awful QB mechanics. He even threw the ball behind a Penn St DB. Awful decision and a pass so bad it actually saved us, at the time. I don’t know if some here just really don’t know what good QB play looks like.
He got a bit better on his checkdowns and that helped a bit on some drives.
I really almost think the WR are so used to the crappy balls he throws that when it hits them perfect it shocks them and they end up screwing it up. Who knows?

That ball wasn’t where it was supposed to be. Don’t think he could have caught that and stayed in bounds.

It is such a pleasure to watch armchair quarterbacks that think they have answers .....

QB was the least of our issues yesterday.

Did I say I had the answers smartass? I just am able to see Nix is not that good and we won’t win very many big g games with him back there.

Bo is average but our WR suck. How is Shedrick Jackson a starter?? He is slow and has bad hands. I’d rather put Canion, Capers, and Hudson out there. Bobo is definitely one of the worst OCs in the SEC.

Yea bo threw some really odd rainbows last night. I kept looking at my wife and saying wtf is he doing that for. Can’t say I know the answers but it was obvious the lose wasn’t only because of Bo. He’s just a mediocre QB imo but has flashes of good play. My concerns were both our lines and the fact that we could e ran the ball all night and won that game. If I had to pick one single play that cost us the whole game it’d be the 3rd and goal god awful pass (no bo, the call itself). We’ve got a RB literally called ‘tank’ and when we did that I felt like gus was back on the sidelines.

Bo is an average to good quarterback. I don't have faith he will ever be great. Bo Nix did not lose us that game last night. The play calling by the coordinators on both sides of the ball cost us the game. Plus, as everyone else has said, our receivers are god awful.

They aren't the only ones. I was saying that after the game. I re-watched it this morning. Bo made some really nice throws that were dropped. If everybody on our team played to the level Bo did, we win by three scores.
