I don't know if you all remember, but USCe is still likely very upset with Auburn from the coaching hires/steals at the beginning of the year with Harsin's hire. At the time they were expecting to keep Bobo and have him a pay increase but we took him. Then we took Will Friend, who was juust hired at USCe right before we took him. We also hired away Tracy Rocker from them, but he also was taken from us within two weeks to the Philadelphia Eagles. In other words I don't think that USCe forgot about all that and it's going to be as just us worrying if our defense plays 4 quarter, or out backup QB performs well.

Their fans always show up.

Their team played better a couple of weeks ago.

Should be a pillow fight.

We went there in 2011 when we played them. Thats a fun place to go to a game. Stadium was very loud and the fans were really into the game. Tailgatting is right at the stadium and we found everyone there to be pretty friendly.

And none of that will matter when the game starts

They are 5-5 and need a win to be bowl eligible. Teams that are 5-7 can be considered if enough teams don't make the 6 win record.

In other words, they need to beat Clemson to have 6 wins.

USCe deserves credit for how they support their team. I'll never forget Tubbs holding the ball for the entire 3rd quarter but we somehow found ourselves in a dog fight in the 4th.

Clemson's recent success has taken a bit of wind out of their sails concerning supporting an inferior team, but with Clemson struggling the renewed hope is back in their eyes this year.

Well yes I did see it there, but I also was trying to remember the reason South Carolina might have this revenge thing for us this a year since Sunday, and that show did remind me.

And are you Jay G Tate, you seem to follow his mindset to aT

If we lose, it won't be because their "fans are upset". It'll be because they stack 8 and we can't run the ball. We must be able to run between the tackles and put up 200+ on the ground or it will be a bad day in Columbia. Losing to USCe 2 years in a row would be a tough pill to swallow.

OL continues to tick higher in pass blocking. If we can protect Finley we probably win

This.

We could have put up 400+ last year, but Gustav and Chadwick decided it would be better to have Bo throw it almost 50 times. Gave Boom the last P5 victory of his HC career.

So dumb, 95% of their fans don't know/care/remember that they lost a couple of position coaches to Auburn.

Their front office isn't playing.

Since when do administrators influence the game on the field? Zero.

This is going to come down to:

1. can we win on the road with a first time starter this year?
2. We lost to USC painfully last time, so they will NOT be a pushover
3. If we don't do a better job of rushing the ball that puts Finley in a precarious position to dominate in the passing game.

Sounds like Pappoe is going to be out again and may sit out the rest of the year due to his ankle injury and prep for the draft.

His freshman year behind Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson was easily his best year.

Has he lived up to his projections?

I don’t see him as much more than a backup, special teams player in NFL.

Good luck to him. Does he project top 100 picks?
