Absolutely any team would, but that doesn't merit as much screen time as it's getting. Only reason it is, because of Prime and CU is a big story right now. Getting a lot of hits from those who love Prime/CU, and those who hate Prime/CU.

We were cheering Fairley not that long ago giving out the abuse.

I agree if this wasnt Travis Hunter and Colorado you wouldnt have heard anything about it. Hence why you dont hear about Shedeur trying to blind someone with an eye poke.

Hard hit, was a little late but not a hit you dont see often on Saturdays

Because it’s one of Prime’s players is why a lot of people are falling all over themselves to say oh no it’s not that bad. FAFO.

He would and I loved every minute of it, and I still love the ire he raises every time his name is mentioned.

People losing their minds over this is hilarious to me. Late hit, unnecessary roughness. Done deal. Move on.

Did the guy see an opportunity and was going to hit Hunter no matter what? Yep. Is he a punk? Probably. The hit itself really wasn't all that bad looking. Hope Hunter is alright and has a fast recovery from whatever the injury actually is.

LOLZ, many here are saying it was dirty. GTFO with that victim shite. The only real argument is how much press time it's getting.

Some are even saying they dont mind the dirty. I certainly dont mind it. If Fairley was not King against Georgia then I dont want to be around football.

Hunter brought it on himself when he invited the extra umph in the tackle attempt with all that trash talk. Players were getting broken up before the game. Sheduer was poking opponents eyes, it was a very scrappy game reminiscent of some of our games when we are playing against the scrappy juco players brought in by Mississippi State.

Watch the defenders left arm on the hit and what he does. Cheap and dirty as hell and meant to injure someone. I don’t want basketball on grass, but that’s dirty.
If it was our player taking that it everyone would be screaming bloody murder.

But he was asking for it, amirite fellas?

Welcome to sports.

My care meter is a bit low.

He is technically right as well. Its just the normal biases of team sports if you ask me. Colorado and Deion groupies are upset, the rest of the world isnt.

That punk bama point guard did something to Broome that got us all worked up. I dont remember what he did but it wouldnt even register a need for an emotional response anywhere else.

I love a rivalry that has an edge to it. College football in the state of Colorado needed this hit more than they know. Their schools haven't been talked about in a really long time. The rivalry was meh because they both suck.

No one deserves a lacerated liver, but he was talking shite to the other team in pregame. Him getting cheap shotted was going to happen and he’s a tiny arse WR

What’s even dumber is “the NCAA needs to step in and suspend the kid” talks on radio and tv shows. What about the career ending injuries from the last 130 years of football? This one hit is so important that the NCAA needs to step in and DO SOMETHING!

Hits like this happens all the time. I think I watch players get hit late out of bounds at least 2-3 times a weekend. It's just really strange you have media from all over the country calling for him to be suspended. It was a late hit, he was flagged end of story. I like Coach Sanders and hope he is successful as long as he isn't playing Auburn but all the media crying over the hit like it doesn't happen every weekend does make them look soft and as an avid football fan makes it a little harder to root for them.

I’m sure he’s the only one that was. I’m positive no CSU players were talking trash, right? I’m sure the CSU coach didn’t go on national TV and start stirring everything up first. This he had it coming stuff is stupid.

If you pull up a YouTube video of dirtiest hits in football history, it's worse than most of those. Not the hardest or most dangerous, but definitely one of the dirtiest.

Stop taunting and poking eyes. Will never happen again. Simple as that.

The dude that tackled Hunter had his phone number, his mom's phone number put on social media. They have got death threats. That dude is the reason why they get death threats. There is blame on bith sides.

How many of these would be classified dirty? Most aren't even flagged but are harder hits than hunter took.
