Covid restrictions required by LSU is pretty restrictive. Remember they aced like 80-100 students for not being vaxxed.
Just a guess based on reading here and there.
But I saw another post showing all the available tickets and it wasn’t very many. I wouldn’t count LSU fans out just yet. They don’t want to lose to Auburn despite how shitty their school is right now.

Late start does not appeal to those who realize this game may end after 11:30 pm. That probably serves as a deterrent for folks who have a "drive" facing them post game.

On tv it seemed that alot of fans left at halftime.
