Players
I liked Tyrik Rollison a lot as well... with some of these QBs though it's just impossible to tell so I've stopped worrying about it until they do something positive in a college game...
Was VERY excited for Byron Cowart
Thought Lache Seastrunk was gonna be a dawg for us

Coaches
Always thought we should have hired Petrino...

Same. I will say I always appreciated Nick Marshall during his time as starter and thought he was awesome, but I watched all of 2013/14 bearing in mind something like “if this is how good our offense is now, imagine what it’s gonna be like when JJ takes the reigns”

Two words: Kiehl Frazier.

I probably said at one point during that whole era that he would be "better than Cam".

Oof.

I also thought that Muschamp was going to be the next great SEC coach when he got the Florida job because of how he could recruit.

Derrick Henry would ever be a good NFL back

I definitely didn't think he would be THIS good...

I thought Trent Richardson would be much much better than he ended up being... guy has zero vision... so strong he never learned how to read blocks

will admit that I secretly felt that Kam Pettway would be the best back that Gus ever put on the field for his system. I thought he would totally dominate and just frick shite up

Didn’t he get an injury that he could never shake? Dude was a beast for part of a season.

I don't remember the injury so much as it appeared his attitude kinda went downhill. He was an absolute beast for a while.

IIRC he had a breakaway run to seal the deal against a decent Vandy team and pulled his hammy about 30 yards into a 50 yard TD run

“Jimbo is building a Monster in College Station.”

Little did I know, his players would turn on him and realize he actually is the buffoon that he comes across as.

That’s right - it happened in a game on a long run. I don’t remember him coming back from it.
