The win against Georgia on the road continues to make little to no sense.

I think the football gods were too late in restoring order of the rivalry but I hope Auburn proves that win to be more than a blip. Competitively speaking, caddillacattack can agree to it but the last few games we haven't been able to fight off a wet paper sack so I am ready to see another glimpse that shows the Georgia game is foreshadowing of things to come. Clean hard-nosed football can travel.

Poise and confidence should travel to BR the same way it traveled to Athens. Prove the game was not a distraction from the season.

Poor defensive scheme by Kirby that day plus we were on the positive side of the turnover battle.

I also think UGa was sleep walking a little after they jumped up 14-0. Plus Stockton still isn’t the same since the dive where he landing on the top of his head. Not sure he isn’t slightly injured.

We aren’t a good team but we aren’t horrible.

Football gods giving us hope. Going into October we needed to steal one. We got the least expected .

Win today. Beat Miss st. Beat Samford.

7-5 season which would be remarkable based on some of the football I've seen us play this year

Flat out neither UGA's offense or defense was executing the way they have been for several years under Smart. Even so, the personal fouls that went against them might have been the biggest difference.

It was the first time in a long time that the ball bounced our way the whole game.

It seems like we’ve had quite a few games the last five years where we were competitive but made crucial mistakes at the worst times, had penalties that stalled momentum, or watched the other team make miraculous plays.

We finally got one.

Glad we won. I hope we can capitalize and keep building.

But that hope is really really thin right now.

Georgia did everything they could to lose that game. It worked.

Go ahead and fight me, but we would have at least 1 maybe 2 or 3 more wins without Brown's disastrous turnovers. In the least likely scenario, we had a 14 point swing on the road due to a ridiculous turnover.

We were never beating LSU, but without the key turnovers, at minimum, we would appear like a slightly below average SEC team with not great talent.

lol, what game do you think we would have won? Tennessee is the only one you could even hope to make an argument for.

I mean that’s pretty much exactly what we look like.

…. and we could just as easily be sitting at 3-4 wins without Brown.

But Brown provides a valuable crutch for Golesh year one, ….which is exactly the stopgap our program needed in 2026.

This was not a good team that AG inherited, and truthfully the only value I can see in a lower bowl is the added practice time it provides in order to continue the rebuild.

There are plenty of deserving reasons for the losses … without pointing the finger at Brown. My bet is that Brown behind even an average OL would pick apart most of the Defenses in the SEC.

We need more players like Brown and Sigler in our program….. players that will lay it all on the line.

No, we need lines.

Brown is too expensive for what he produces. And next year, we start over still trying to build lines with a new QB1. Hopefully we approach the portal more intelligently this time.

I certainly agree with viewing it through the production-value prism …. but even that perspective places focus on players other than Brown

So you're saying if we would have spent 1, 2, or 3 million on another quarterback, we would could have easily lost to Baylor (Brown 3 turnovers),
Vandy, Southern Miss, or Arkansas? Ridiculous.

Gunner still made some wicked passes after the head knock. Maybe muscle memory?

Anybody that says we won because Gunner bumped his head isn't being honest.

Georgia looked great last night. They looked more fresh. Georgia should think about proactively planning the bye week two weeks earlier
