Yeah. Frustrating at times but that’s basketball.
Bruce seems determined to figure out who he has in Pegues. If it were February-March right now I don’t think he would be sniffing the court. Probably the right move but could ultimately cost us a ball game.

I'll say this about Pegues.. at worst he's eating minutes so our better guards aren't picking up cheap fouls and are fresh for the 2nd half.
Big time end to that half. Wouldn't be shocked if he sit Broome a little to start the 2nd half since we have a little cushion and he was cramping up last night.

I’ll take it. Solid half. Got out of our element some and got lazy on defense. Settled down some to end it and played more of our game. Teams like UNC and bama want you to play them at their game. Don’t fall for it. Keep slowing things down on offense, working inside out, and then make them run their half court offense.

This is his role currently. Even on offense he’s basically just triggering the offense by getting it to someone else and then getting out of the way most of the time. We have enough weapons to put him in rotations with guys that can handle the scoring.

Need to keep Dylan from picking up his 3rd early in the 2nd half. They took advantage getting to the rim once he went out with his 2nd. Glad we could get a little cushion there at the end of the half. Would love to see another 2nd half start like last night.

Denver is in a fairly brutal shooting slump. Part of it is what we are asking of him defensively for sure and the new ball handling duties. Although he didn’t play PG at all that half other than the opening stretch (I’m guessing because of the tough defensive assignment)
