I dont know how. I read the slot value for one of those picks was like 300,000.

Our NIL cant keep that guy?

We had the opportunity to go from good to elite with seasoning but looks like now we are just expecting to row the boat with less seasoned players

For the most part, the Teams are working deals out with players before they draft them. That is why you see some guys projected early not get drafted at all.

They can overpay the slot value, as long as they have underpaid on another pick. Jace will be overpaid, not sure about AJ but I am betting he will too.

Regarding any of our JR’s, they’ll never have this leverage again so assume they are all gone

How can we put ourselves in line to hold onto or commits better is the question then.

LSU and Tennessee did not have any problem holding onto top 50 recruits

Jang, you know the answer...NIL, $$, donate...rinse and repeat. Between the darkness known as AU football and I'm sure promises to Golesh and SP needing funds to "improve" on his NIT trophy, Butch is probably asking for more NIL dollars but since "he's doing just fine" with what they give him, he's probably just out of luck this season. It stinks but so does NIL.

I do wonder if LSU is printing money these days, they have spent a ton recently on new coaches, firing old coaches, buying new recruits and old ones. Good for them if they have the money but I don't see this being sustainable for college athletics overall.

Agree Foy

Vandy and LSU felt a lot of pressure to turn the ship around after missing the tournament and threw a lot of $$$ to it this yr.

We have a top ten nationally great HC

Just dont run him off. Stadium upgrades dont mean jack if NIL cannot compete with the 12th round slot value
