What Florida booster donated a case of cheap wine to our team? The lads really looked they suffered a hangover for whatever reason.

No you didn’t. You actually were so absent from basketball talk on here that you didn’t even realize Auburn played Baylor in SD until a few weeks before the game. You also said you didn’t agree with Bruce’s coaching philosophy but said that if we were within a few games of first place then his plan was viable. Meanwhile we are still above the poster child for the strategy you prefer.
I never said I disagreed with Bruce's coaching philosophy lol. Show the quote. I disagree with the way the roster is built and our recruiting. We are within a few games though, and the team is doing better than I thought as far as wins and losses.. we are shooting just as bad as I said we would though. All of the players moving up a level except Broome have struggled and I said that too, so make sure you include everything I said.

You have already said “no regular season title, early post season departure.” Must I say more?

Sorry bud, not sure if it’s me or you.
I have not been negative since tip.

A bit of advice for this team, less playing to the crowd/show boating; learn to play with effort 24/7; rebound the $&@& ball!!!!! Aden just played himself a bench role for the remainder of the season as he is timid….

14-4 and/or 13-5. If that was assured before the season who wouldn’t have taken it?
Most prognosticators had us around 10-8 in conference. We in totality are probably around 7th or 8th in talent. The one and dones kill your upper level talent. I still expect this team to be in the title hunt until the end of the season. I expect us to have the ability to win the conference tournament as much as the next team. This team should make the sweet 16 with the right seeding.

so they were gonna make our guards beat them.
Hope our guards can morph into Harper/Brown down the stretch or we won’t sniff a Sweet 16

So you don’t think we can beat 2 teams lower seeded than us in the tournament?
Posted on 2/10/24 at 5:46 pm to CorchJay
Well I see our 5* pg had another stellar performance

not after today and Miss St. I guess it depends what team shows up but I'm not hopeful.

He has been dreadful in conference play. It will be interesting what path he takes next year. I think he can be really great, if Bruce convinces him to stay, improve, and grow personally, but I’m wondering if he takes the bitch arse genZ way of dealing with adversity and transfers somewhere else.

Good lord. We drop a game on the road to a team that has only lost 1 game at home this year and suddenly the sky is falling and all our players suck.
frick A guys.
Losing on the road happens all the time

We start losing at home, then I'll start to get uneasy.
Just a reminder, Auburn is about to have another 20 win season and an NCAA tournament bid, again. What are we bitching about again? Bring Back Toney Barbee!!!!

Can we learn and grow from this?
That is the question.
I think we can.

A lot of the tournament is the "luck of the draw." Some teams match up and some don't. Clearly, Florida's bigs stifled our bigs and Auburn played like they had a hangover of some kind.

UT getting smoked on the road too.
