Jahki Howard announced today he’s committing at 11:30 CT. He just visited us. Final teams are AU, Arizona St, Arky, and GT. He’s probably the best athlete in the class and has shot the 3 well recently too. Teammates with Pettiford. Apparently has some character issues in the past that have turned teams off of him.

Haven’t seen anything from any of the recruitniks, but if he’s a take for us then I would bet he chooses AU. He was all about Bruce in his post visit interview.
No clue what the character concerns are, but he’s high enough potential that I think if the issues aren’t too bad he’s worth taking a chance on.

JLee just put in a prediction for Howard to AU. Howard kind of reminds me of a Cambridge with a much higher ceiling. Crazy good bounce and high effort player. Difference being his shot actually looks normal

Seems like this team has the has all of the elements of the 2019 final four team with a nice combination of experience, defense and downtown shooting. It just doesn't have the cohesive spirit of 2019 just yet.

Pettiford is one of the most impressive HS guards I've seen. He checks all the boxes. I think it's highly likely Holloway returns next year. He and Pettiford will be one of the best backcourts in the country.

He reminds me so much of De'Aaron Fox. Not quite as lengthy but makes up for it with slightly better athleticism.
I'm not as sold as everyone that Aden will return for a second season. If I had to guess I'd say no.

To be clear, Scoper’s issues were well beyond basketball. That was the final straw that broke the camel’s back.
