Bruce was a great recruiter before Chuma's injury, but I will always believe his heart felt, honest emotional response post game in the tourney a few years ago really showed the nature of his personality. I can only imagine it helped him with the high end guys.
Since then Okoro, Cooper and Jabari...plus a few of the KD, Kessler types.

Yea it’s just hard for me to imagine a guy with a history of infractions going to Louisville with their recent history, especially since he’s gonna be 62.

More likely a ton more concessions from facility, NIL/recruiting commitments and other key items to win

JHoke posted an article about how AU has firmly committed to building new MBBonly facilities , which was a huge issue for Pearl's
I guess we've been slow to get the ball rolling and Pear was upset. These rumors seem to be a catalyst for Pearl to demand and get what he wants

You may be right but I also think him showing he could get AU to that level probably had more to do with it.

My guess is Bruce gets a nice pay raise (currently the 7th highest paid coach at just under $4mil) and gets his basketball only facility
