JLee has some quotes from Walker from the weekend. Had good things to say as you’d expect, but still doesn’t reveal his hand much. Says he still doesn’t know where he’s going but will decide in November.

Tre Donaldson is also recruiting Jarace hard and thinks we are in a good position. Apparently, both are pretty close. However, Jaden Bradley is committed to Bama now, which makes me nervous.

I don't think he was misquoted. I think he was just having a little fun and being a little cheeky calling Auburn a basketball school.
Or he just doesn't follow college football at all and really didn't know that JHS can get wild. Idk, so.e if these young guys have their sport or teams and do not follow anything else.
