I still think there is more to that Powell situation that just a concussion.. The way he ended up transferring out. Either Bruce was mad at him about something or he had already decided he was leaving so he wasn't going to risk getting injured.

He is one crazy dude. We could tell he liked to have fun, just how he acted on the court, but this is at a different level. lol.

One thing though, none of these guys can sing a lick.

Does Jabari and Jaylin play the same position?

I’d say both are natural 4’s but at the same time both are flexible enough to move around to other positions and could play alongside each other this year at times for sure

I know Jaylin is a gamer. I hope we can keep both on the court for long stretches. I hope he has improved his long gun.

I suspect Jabari will get pretty much all his minutes at the 4 and Jaylin will get PT at both the 3 and 4.

I also like Jaylin at the 5. He played some there last year and was pretty effective. Can play a lot bigger than his height

Yeah I thought about that too but was thinking it would be situational when we wanna play faster or 5 out. I’m not sure how many minutes he will get with Cardwell.

I bet having someone like Dylan on the team does a lot more for success on the court than any of us will ever know. The positive energy and team chemistry that kind of vibe can build goes a long way. Same way with Malik on the final four team.

Jaylin said last week he has been working at the 3. He can play the 4 and 5 as well. His primary position will be the 4.

Jaylin has the quicks to play the 3 and he's also big too. What also helps is Pearl runs the Dr. Tom Davis Modified Flex Offense, so the 2-5 can be really interchangable. Joel Eaves ran something similar too IIRC. Dr. Tom Davis was always at places where he wasn't going to get top-level talent (like Pearl), so that style of play and offense takes advantage on the offensive end with 'tweeners and undersized guys, who Pearl has his historically signed with great success.

Now we are top 5-15 recruiting. I don't know what that means but the Dr. Tom Davis/Pearl style of basketball is successful and fun to watch.

Jaylin understands his role has changed from last year to this year. He knows he is needed for rebounding and to be a rim runner. He stated it in his interview last week. Instead of thinking Jaylin will be the odd man out since Jabari is here I think Jaylin will benefit the most being able to show more then just inside game and pop game. He will be able to drive, cut to the basket much more. He also stated in his interview he's been working his pump fake so expect that and drives to the basket

Man Jabari looks impressive in that last video. We’ve never seen a guy like him at Auburn.

The NBA has to be drooling over his skillset. What can he not do?!

I wonder who the 3 guys are in the last photo?

I see 2 mentioned but not a third. I assume recruits.
