Yeah I'd like Jabari and Cardwell getting the bulk of minutes at the 5 next year. If Stretch stays around he's fine in a pinch but there is also the possibility of Thor bulking up a little and being a great smallball 5.

Jabari will also get a few minutes at the 4 alongside Williams and a little Thor.

This is the way I see it mostly too.

Although I still think Cardwell has a chance to really grow and improve from year 1 to year 2, since he didn't even play his Sr year.
Cardwell, I like he has soft hands for an inside guy, and when Cooper was playing, and it showed a little too in the Alabama game, he can catch a hard pass or a bounce pass and grab and score (unlike poor Spencer last few years). I want to see if Cardwell has a inside shooting touch too, and I think all of his shots this year were dunks or layups...

Don't tell me we are going to have to cheer for Vandy to lose tonight so we are't tied for the most losses in conference.

Fine way to end an irrelevant asterisk of a season (sorry, Bama fans), knock on wood.

Honestly not a bad season at all given the circumstances. Disappointing maybe but the future is bright

Not the year we’d hoped for but glad they were able to go out on a win. Time to get focused on next year.

Terrible season in my opinion. Just expected more out of the sophomores this year. Tons of talent just as a team loses focus way to much.

Congrats to 600 for Bruce!!

Just wish we could’ve figured out Jamal at PG was better than Flan. Definitely could’ve been better but hard to expect much with the injuries and everything else. Lack of a true home court advantage also hurt.

That's just on you. These weren't blue chip sophomores and never were. Williams and Flanigan were always gonna be 3-4 year guys who aren't really high caliber until they were upper classmen.

This team didn't have enough high end talent to overcome it's lack of experience. Success is almost always tied to upperclassmen in college basketball with the exception of 1 or 2 UK teams.

I agree with all that except about Jamal.. not sure what your expectations were but I think he did ok. He could’ve been more consistent but he definitely improved from last season, and we wouldn’t have won some of the games we did without his shot making. On the list of reasons why we weren’t more successful this season, the play of JJ has to be way down the list, imo..

He played better the last few games. I thought moving him to point seemed to take the pressure off him as a spot up scorer.

Considering the injuries and time missed by Coop and Powell it could have been worse. Nice win to end it.

I think Flanigan, Cooper, Thor, and Jaylin will all "declare" and test the waters, but all will be back except Cooper.

No one predicted a losing record overall or in conference. I can't remember off the top of my head anyone predicting lower then 6th in conference. We will finish what 10th or 11th.

No one predicting not having Sharife or losing Powell for basically the whole year either.

Exactly. Easy to see this team having gone .500 in conference play or better if those two had played more

You really think so? I don't at all. I think it plays out about the same. As bad as Jamal is on defense he's an elite stopper compared to Cooper.

If we can just get SC2 back, and add Jabari Smith Jr and Justin Powell into the mix...look out.

Yeah I think they could have easily influenced the TAMU result maybe Ole Miss result, maybe Powell gets us Arkansas win at Arky or at home vs UGA. Several games where we needed a shot in the arm
