I believe it. Cooper is constantly in attack mode until it's time to watch the clock. He's fun to watch

Saw a little of the game last night, first time I'd seen him in action.

I'm not a basketball fan, but he's one of the most dynamic players I've ever seen in an AU uniform. Maybe not since Barkley, or at least Chris Porter. Obviously not that kind of player, but that level of skill compared to everyone else on the court.

He’s mighty sensitive on twitter.

He's a name searcher, same as Hugh Freeze and Billy Napier. He'll search for his name to see who's talking about him even when he's not directly tagged.

If Scoot was able to sign today he'd be the second highest-rated recruit, by 247, to ever sign with auburn.
It doesn't hurt that he works out with Jared Harper. He sees himself as a Harper type player. His dad loves Bruce Pearl.

All reports are that Auburn is the heavy favorite right now. The blue bloods usually recruit later though so I fully expect them to put on the press with him at some point.

I really like Scoot. He looks like a more skilled JD Davison to me. Both are elite athletes with good size for PGs, but Scoot is becoming a dangerous shooter too.

Doesn't sound great for JP to play tomorrow

Bruce was on the roundtable today and said he was cleared to get out and move around some earlier in the week and that Powell didn't respond well to that so that's why he didn't play. He also came out and said that he's not going to tip off UK as to if he's playing or not.

That really sucks for the kid.

If it is that bad, starts to be concerning about long term life impact beyond just basketball this year

I was basing it off of what he said in his teleconference about him not being able to progress after JP "moved around". You could be right in he just doesn't want to give anything away

Dang, amazing that a doctor could clear someone to play with those kind of symptoms.

No I’m skeptical too. I think he was just hesitant to come out and say for sure he wasn’t.

Bruce made it sound like he was just cleared to practice and test things out

A soccer goalpost rang my bell back in high school. My doctor told me it was only a mild concussion and I'd be fine after 3-4 days, but I wasn't 100% for a couple weeks. Some people just bounce back quicker than others

Concussions are just weird. We are still learning a ton about how they work.

Ed King rang me up covering a punt when we played Central my junior year and I had intermittent vertigo for a couple of months. Fortunately we only had one game left in the season, but it screwed up the first quarter season of baseball. Its difficult to play catcher with vertigo.

Had one with a diving accident, fractured a vertebrae, and one arm was temp paralyzed. Doc asked if there was any loss of consciousness and I told him laying there on bottom I was too afraid of drowning. He said it was possible to stop yourself and maybe so. Another time I made a steering wheel look like a horse shoe, but managed to walk over to other guy and ask he was ok, he said yes and then I hit the ground.... Just to say they can be strange.

Line has moved to -3.5 Auburn some places even without good news on Powell. Maybe somebody out for UK? Opened at +1 and adjusted to -1 offshore. Just a gradual climb. Doesn't seem like any rumors behind it. I miss being able to analyze lines. Without tournament implications, I really don't give a damn this season, but included us in a little parlay.

Powell officially not playing, in case anyone hasn't seen.
