Count me in as excited! BRUCE is the GOAT!

I hope he and Jabari make a lethal combo. Gosh we're gonna be stacked.

Folks are predicting Okoro to slide a bit in the draft.. mainly due to 1 on 0 workout formats hurting him and helping other guys.

Not as fun for the headlines when he gets picked but probably better for his career if he can end up with the Spurs or something.

Team needs is part of it but he’s in that very top tier of wing players. Then it just depends on whether that team values the defense enough to bet on developing his shot.

The top end of the lottery isn’t stacked with exciting guys but I think there’s like 15 really good NBA players after Wiseman, Melo, and Edwards and we could see a lot of trades and some unusual picks

Not hoping at all that Okoro falls so low but wouldn't it be interesting to see him end up at the Magic.

I think for some reason someone will like his finishing ability and defense and take him around 8th.

Timberwolves worked him out in AU yesterday. Not sure if they are considering him for #1 or potential trade down to take him but apparently they really liked him.

The NCAA has allowed third party members to help coach and mentor the teams. They’re probably being tipped off by butthurt Crean

Hooks doesn’t know anything. Haven’t we learned that by now?

Someone else asked about the NCAA taking interest in Cooper. Hooks just said that they are interested in some social media posts that looks like they were living the high life

Not sure if Hooks is right or wrong but there’s been several threads across the paysites recently suggesting, in one way or another, that Cooper might not be playing this season. Some have suggested he’s ineligible

To me, it all reads as speculation.

Somehow I missed all of that.

Ineligible for what?

Some hoop scoops by Jeffrey Lee:

Jabari Smith is expected to sign with Auburn next week.
Trey Alexander is also expected to sign with Auburn early if he commits to Auburn. Lee said the Trey Alexander commitment could be as early as tonight.

Early Signing Period 11/11-11/18

Those threads are what provoked a response from Hooks. I agree with the sentiment that it seems speculative and even if the NCAA is looking into it, there will be nothing to find.

Keep in mind, these are posts and threads by random people, not Mods, and they’ve been mostly deleted at this point.

But they were alluding to Cooper being ineligible because of something involving his dad’s new agency venture. It definitely just seems like speculation but it’s been happening the last couple of weeks

Hokanson pushing it on twitter now. Lots of smoke.

Edit: Hooks again confirmed there is something to this but added optimism that the situation should be going away soon.
