A UT fan on the sec recruiting board said that rivals guy admitted that he had only heard from the UT side and didn’t know much from Auburn’s camp. We will find out Friday though.

He is a good one. I think he writes for Kentucky and I imagine Kentucky basketball writers are well connected.

Dan McDonald put in for UT on Rivals this morning, then just flipped it to Auburn. It's gonna suck when he goes to the G League.

Someone on this site was saying G-League wasn’t on the table. Not sure why, but I fully expect them to offer a big fat contract before it’s all said and done.

For real, where are the beat writers on this? Our football program is spiraling into the shitter (has been for years now), and we just keep obsessing over it for no good reason.
I wish Auburn reporters would wake up and put some serious time into talking about the basketball program, because quite frankly, it's much more deserving.

Not getting my hopes up. I've felt for a while we would finish second to the G league when all was said and done. With that said I do expect him to at least commit to Auburn if he goes through with his announcement. He plays AAU for the Atlanta Celtics which has been a pipeline for CBP since his time at UT.

If and when we get Jabari I hope we hold on to him. He will be a difference maker no doubt.

I still think the plan is to take 2-3 this year. So if we can find what we need in 1 player maybe we only take 2 but I suspect we take 3. That means someone is gonna hit the road that's on the roster.

Yep. I understand there is a bit of supply and demand in play here but if you manufacture drama around some of this hoops stuff it can become a real traffic driver that you create yourself.
Seriously just throw up dumbass headlines like Jabari Smith is the second coming of Karl Malone and certain lottery pick and turn his recruitment into a little bit of a drama and I think the Rivals and 247 folks would be surprised at how many were interested.
I'll take anything. I figured at least one of the sites would have found a niche in it by now.

lol. not wood but JT and Jabari together could be special especially with some outside shooting because both of them can stretch the floor as well
