If we win Friday I may go down Saturday... I’ll be without the wife and kids.

I went last year to the semis on Saturday... one of the coolest experiences as a sports fan... watching my team win then watching a great UK/Tenn game.

Y’all do know fans can’t get in for the rest of the tournament. SEC just made the announcement.

Yeah and if these measures getting put in across non-essential social gatherings do manage to help contain the outbreak, all these idiots are gonna be complaining about how much of an overreaction it was

Like, 14-day incubation + no natural immunity = bad times vs an invisible enemy no one can see

There’s a reason 60m people in Italy are in complete lockdown and Merkel is telling Germany for people to prepare for 60-70% of the population to get it

This.

A couple weeks ago Italy had maybe 25 cases and now they have a few hundred deaths and are on lockdown.

You guys need to get your priorities straightened out. Sports 1st. Pandemics 2nd. I'm honestly appalled.

I’m hoping we can even get audience free games at this point. With Gobert getting sick and nba cancellation + possible Fred Hoiberg issues tonight.. might not see it continue

Xavier and Stanford unexpectedly played themselves out of the tournament, and maybe 3 people are talking it. Sucks. arse.

Hoiberg was released, apparently tested negative for COVID-19, but I don’t see how they can keep it on when all it takes is one player/coach/staff member testing positive and the whole thing has to get shut down (see: the National Basketball Association)

This is the same player that thought it was funny to touch all the mics and recorders that he could after the initial panic. Wonder if that’s still funny?

Talk about a walking PSA.

If the season shuts down, that would be an advantage for us. We overachieved all year and would be a great recruiting pitch.

Another forgotten consequence could be the McDonald’s All American game getting canceled. Evans says it’s still a go but his gut feeling is that changes. Shariffe was going to recruit hard there.

With the impending NCAA tournament cancellation, I feel very sad as a fan of a school that is unused to making it. I can only imagine being a SDSU or Dayton fan/player right now.

It's going to suck for these kids. Wish this virus wasn't a thing.

They should just postpone the tourney to late April/May rather than cancel. This will be done by then.
