had to go to the Alabama Theatre tonight so I missed most of the game. Turned on Andy & Sonny on the way home and apparently all it sounded like I missed was a bunch of fouls

50 total fouls... including a couple techs.

Shawn Marion says hi.

Shawn Marion was a career 81% FT and shot 3FG at 33% before the 3PT revolution in the NBA

Okoro is shooting some 60% FT and 25% 3FG in just CBB against mostly mid majors.

I am not as sold on Okoro as a lot are. His O game is lacking. His FT shooting is pure shite. He does play good D, but we are going to need more from him than just that.

I think he come see back. It’s ok, Shariffe will do the shooting for both of them

Once again, I'll take it. Top 10 will be nice to enjoy for a bit. Maryland and Kentucky will get dropped.

He is a good slasher and very good finisher on the inside.

If he could shoot, he'd be a top 3-5 pick

His inside game was off tonight, but I thought he played excellent defense. As a team, it seemed like we struggled putting in easy close range buckets after making the right moves to get close. J’Von missed probably 3-5 of those shots.

Kind of OT, but they covered up the upper deck with curtains for Bama’s game at BJCC against Samford.

Samford also played @ hawaii last sunday. Somewhat explains their awful start to that one.

I think this is less of a deal than people are suggesting

Bama basketball is very accessible for BHam people all year. Not sure why watching them play in the BJCC should generate additional buzz

What’s ironic is NC State didn’t attempt to make us win it at the line in the last minute. Very poor coaching on their part given our terrible FT %.

It didn't seem like they shot very well from the line either. If they shot their FT's really well, they could've won that game.

Agreed. But doesn't mean I can't act like it's embarrassing on twitter

They were in significant foul trouble. They didn't have many to burn, if any.

Good point but I still like my odds. Double Samir and force J'von or anyone else to shoot. Sub in some folks that aren't needed on the Offensive end like many teams do towards the end of game.

I feel like I knew Cambridge would play this year, but where I was wrong was Flanigan. He has played above my expectations.

I thought Turbo would play a LOT more. That was my big miss. Also thought Purifoy would be a higher usage player but I've still been pleased with his overall play.

Thought Purifoy would be more of a force offensively. Glad the bench can score.

Like last night. Purifoy continues to struggle to find his shooting touch, and he is not the best defender.

I was there last night and NCST had an excellent defensive team, and we had to match it since our shooting has not been the best.

Flanigan played almost as many minutes as Purifoy which tells mes that Pearl wanted Flanigan's D which is much better than Purifoys.

Flanigan so far doesn't have a very good shooting touch. His shots were flat and sometimes barely reached the rim but man he looks like an OLB with his build.

We need Purifoy to score better if we are to win in the SEC i feel, but for now Pearl needed Flanigan.
