Hopefully this bodes well for A-Day attendance too. If anyone goes, take some notes for us.

I remember going to Tuberville practices early in the morning before work. Those were some great memories! So glad to see them open again.

Anybody know if Davis is on-campus yet?

Yes on campus and going through spring.

I'd assume the reps are in the following order for now.

Nix
Loy
Garnett
Davis
Pate

I know there is a huge faction out there that is pumping Davis like he has a chance to start as a freshman. I don't see it at all. He played a stellar high school with tons of talent and put up huge numbers. They overwhelmed most teams completely with overall team talent. Davis is accurate but is very small, has a below average arm strength for an SEC QB, and who knows what kind of player he will be after getting mowed over by some 300 pounders. He'll get his chance. I hope the best for him. I want 2 QBs coming out of spring that can run the Harsin/Bobo offense. Don't care which 2.

WOW. When was the last time we had an open practice that wasn't A-Day?

I remember my school days (late Tubs 05-09) that there were some open practices my first few years there.

make something up? you're joking right? Go to any other site except this one. Any vlog, podcast and so forth. Davis is coming blah blah blah. Bullcrap. If he gets mop-up duty I'll be surprised.

Those were some ankle breaking, knee tearing times. How many folks you think didn't make it through fall camp because of the field condition?

It’s been awesome having a solid LB group the last few years.

I remember that. I played I don't know how many intramural flag football and ultimate frisbee games on those fields and still can't believe I never damaged some leg joint.

I remember Tubs would hold the first 4 or 5 practices there I think open to everyone. Maybe that's why those defenses were so tough.

IIRC, that was also because we didn't have enough dedicated field space for groups to spread out, and those were the largest fields on campus.

We didn't get the turf field till 05, and the old indoor facility was basically just the Redzone.

Agreed and was hard to see TWill go. He did a noteworthy job at LB's.

Edited title for the entirety of spring probably excluding A-Day or some scrimmages that may have some information coming out.

We did a lot of our speed workouts for cross country and track on those fields, usually around the outside and it worked pretty well. I'd kill to have a field that size to train my kids on now.
