On spring break after 2 practices. Nothing going on this week other than recruiting.
Pads go on when they get back from spring break but I still expect a lot of this spring to be install and technique/skill improvement. Whoever comes on board from the portal or the summer high school enrollees won’t get slow time it will be drinking from a fire hose because we have to get going early this coming season and establish an identity on both sides of the ball

Let’s not forget the coaching upgrades.
McGriff was so put out with coaching the safeties last year before he stepped away that after a few days he told Ethridge “you recruited these dudes you can coach them”.
The safety failed to cover on 4-15.

OL much improved.
Hank Brown looking good. If they want to throw the ball around, he is probably the best option.
Holden to transfer. Simply can't play at this level.

We've had 2 days of spring practice. Its way too soon to be saying that about anyone lol.

In shorts and helmets at that. Most have been walk through type stuff with individual reps mixed in. Like 7v7 stuff.
I have no doubt Freeze will do what is best to win games.

Hell, Freeze even half assed his way through the bowl season and didnt have them ready to play.
Freeze left a lot to be desired after 1 year of coaching here at Auburn.

I agree. it just didn't look very well-coached on the field, even with scrubs.

Agree, year 2 better look much better. We left wins on the field probably 3 or 4 times

Yeah. I didn't like the hire and after the guy basically went with the "Aw shucks, I'm just too busy recruiting" before throwing his assistants all under the bus, I'll never be a fan of his. He may turn out to be a fantastic coach and he's who Auburn hired to do that job, but it's hard to respect him and he's already turned in one of, if not the absolute worst loss at home I've ever seen.
