Which is wild considering how little we throw screens or shallow crossers or swing routes or slants. The jet sweep passes help, but our entire passing game is basically comeback routes around 7ish yards and i'd wager we are probably at the absolute bottom for YAC.

so he probably has more play calling experience than Nix. he'll probably be the one calling plays and Nix will do what he's been doing.
so....is it telling that Nix will be the playcaller and Not Austin? wasn't Austin also the QB "coach"? that should be a fireable offense.

I have no clue. I was just pointing out that Austin seemed to have more play calling experience than Nix. Nix is the OC in title though and not Austin and maybe Durkin has had some convos with Nix and liked what Nix had to say more than Austin. I guess we'll find out. I don't care who's calling plays as long as they can put the team in position to score points.

I bet Nix we will intentionally run the ball with the RBs to set up the pass. Fingers crossed!
