Didn't mean to post it twice, fat fingered my phone...like it was Harsin's assistant

I wouldn't be surprised if this was a power play by some folks still bitter that Harsin was hired over Steele. If Steele is hired, the AU football program is done.

Rhule

As a Panthers fan, would kill two birds with one stone. He is not cut out for the NFL.

That said, I'm still willing to give Harsin more time (assuming he's not Graham 2.0)

Shot across the bow from Harsin right towards the Auburn boosters.

With that being said Rhule would be a slam dunk hire.

I will happy accept that Harsin is no longer our coach. No lie about that.

I’ll be the baby’s pappy.

The thing that raised the biggest red flag about Harsin's ESPN article was the quote about lacking clarity regarding the numbers for a new OC position as an excuse for the delay and maybe the one we got.

How in the frick do you not get that settled immediately?

In my experience when you're about to get canned people become less responsive to you

Yea, that honestly seemed like an outright lie. Bobo was paid $1.3M I think per year. Regardless on if an exact number was not agreed to, which is normal considering contract negotiations. His budget wasn't all of a sudden cut in half for that position.

They started shorting CGM at the end too. It was a control issue after bobo left and seems like still is.

Hars needs to go - as does our GOB network of dis function.

I’ll predict that they don’t find anything and he gets another year and is fired after that unless we have a great year

We have put ourselves in a no win situation at this point though. If Harsin sucks, well he sucks and we need a new coach. If he’s good, he probably bails first chance he gets after all of this stuff that has happened. I think we may as well just get rid of him now (and do it the right way, no rumor bullshite). I don’t see this getting any better

He's not even that great as a coach. He's never won anything! He beat Saban 2x. So what. Gus beat him 3x. He's never had a good running game or defense. And now I just read that they are going to hire him and force him to hire Charlie Kelly as a dc. OMG. What a joke

Not disagreeing with the overall premise of your argument, but the part about the Defense is absolutely false. That 2014 team had a nasty defense.

He may just be the guy to put the dumb frick good old boys in their place. Derrick Hall finna eat

Terminated for what? Why all this smoke but no facts. Rip the band aid off and do it, dragging it on makes it worse.

It sounds like that’s what they’re meeting about. Seems like if they can find something with some meat on it they will shoot for firing with cause. If they don’t get anything then we get to have the most awkward HC/booster relationship in the history of sports.
