I saw Gene's opinion start to change for the better with more middle of the field intermediate passing. Anybody else coming around on him? Anybody else still not a believer? Why or why not?

When given time, Sean is accurate.

We need to quit the double fake long developing play action game and roll Sean out a little more.

Not asking people to eat crow. I just want to discuss some football since people just wanna deflect and downvote instead of refute an argument in the game thread lol.

Whirlybird works when it's called effectively and not on third and long with shite blocking. Bootleg flat route did work 2/2 twice today so I agree there. Especially in the redzone.

TBD

Need to see Sean play against better teams than that. Looking effortlessly great against shitty teams though.

Some of you simpletons fail to understand those critical of SW. No one said they hate SW. We just had concerns he is a terrible for our system. If Rhett works with his talents, then we have a chance.

My opinion on Sean hasn't changed at all, I've always thought he was a solid QB for a different system. The change is that we finally are giving him an offense that allows him to be solid (which I am skeptical of Gus/Rhett being able to do vs quality Ds)

Sean White right now is like Alex Smith for the Kansas City Chiefs these past few years. I haven't seen anything to suggest otherwise. That said, Alex Smith puts KC in a position to win, doesn't lose games for them and has 65%+ 2:1 TDtoINT ratio. He isn't Cam Newton or Tom Brady, but he doesn't need to be

Was State's D known to be shitty before our game? I know they had questions on the oline, I thought they were really strong on the d line and had a decent defense though.

Their passing D was suspect from what I heard.

Gave up >30 to UMass, 20 to USA to lose

They were never very good but they still should have put up more of a fight

I can't argue with that. So do you think we can win 10 games with him?

That's a pretty good comparison.

Yea, good comparison. More throws like the 37yarder to Stevens could bump into a higher category.

What happened on the overthrow on the other bomb. The announcer said the WR studs weed on the route but I couldn't see anything?

Which one? The one to Stevens or Kyle Davis?

He's a decent QB, but he's not the guy that's going to get us where we want to be. Not a knock on him. His abilities are limited.
