Everyone's saying we are just the luckiest program. Another missed call today probably won us the game. We are now the villains. Embrace it or just say it goes both ways and we are just getting some balancing out.

Are we lucky?
We had a return for a touchdown called back for a bullshite holding call while Ole Miss bear hugged our defense the entire game.
IMO the refs owed us one for screwing us earlier.

Yes!! Waddle is probably out for the year too. Went from 100% chance of losing against Bama to 99%. I think it’s a God thing. FR

Hate it for him. He is a baller. That being said we are about 4 WR's missing the game against us from being able to cover their guys.

With AU its just a part of the ganme, and I don't think I would have thought differenty if the calls would have gone against us. I think we would have won the game because we are better than Ole Miss.
Saban's comments about Waddle were pretty interesting. He obviously likes the guy and did things right in the program. Hate to see that happen.

frick yes we should. That call on the kIckoff return was a shitty call too that cost us a TD. shite happens in a game. We are 3-2 and trending up with Tank!

That is correct. It sucked. As hard as they worked, it was taken away from them.

I used to get pissed when people bitch about “luck” and “paying the refs.” IMO, it has nothing to do with us. If a ref doesn’t understand the rules, then they should be disciplined or canned; it has nothing to do with AU. As people have pointed out in this thread there were bad calls against us in this game as well as others across sports. It happens.
Didn’t a well-known coach say something along the lines of “you shouldn’t put yourself in a position to lose a game based on the outcome of a missed call or one play..”?

I agree. Even the UVA game if we don't commit that Point of Emphasis foul then the bad call wouldn't have mattered. Of course, losing Chuma also felt unlucky.
