If Gus is going to be here, do we really need a guy that’s not a true dual threat?

He'd be better off without Gus. To act like we wouldn't need him if Gus isn't here is asinine though.

Yep. I’ve posed this question to others. How good would Tua be with our line compared to Bama’s?

I feel the same as I did this year. Gatewood will start, and he should have started this year.

Not exactly sure what you’re saying as the wording is confusing but Gus clearly needs to go back to Dual Threats.

Pretty decent tbh. Second half of the season pass pro hasnt been that bad but Jarrett has made it look worse than it actually is.

Read your post wrong. Read it as "if Gus isn't gonna be here" My b.

In my opinion he's better than Stidham today. I would still rather redshirt him if that's an option though. Malik and Gatewood need to go live during off season practices too. Find out who can make good decisions under pressure.

Gus thinks laughing, happy feet Stidham is the answer. He has no clue. It doesn’t matter who is QB. He was fortunate to have Cam and Nick. He is a HS failure.

Nix is a dual threat.

Why do people keep saying he's not?

Also, before anyone says Nix is a dual threat like Stidham is a dual threat, look at Stidham coming out of HS and what he did at Baylor prior to putting on the 20 lbs he has here and losing 2 steps.

You mean his 70 rushing yards on 36 attempts?

I would put Nix mobility somewhere around Sean White. He's a better runner than Stidham for sure, but still more of a passer than anything.

Because he’s white. I’ve said it numerous times on here. Nix doesn’t have DB speed, but it’s enough for the zone read and RPO to be a big part of the offense. My biggest concern is his downfield accuracy.

Glad you looked it up.

No his ability to extend plays with his feet and be a big enough threat to keep the defense honest.

Also, other than just looking at ESPN stats, look at the actual film. He was WAY faster.

Literally the exact thing said about Stidham

What would you guess Stidham’s 40 time is?

Give me something that shows his speed. I haven’t seen it and can’t find it
