I am seeing no confirmation of Bo leaving outside of that thread on the Rant (which has no sources linked).

That said, I do expect it to happen. There's no way Bo leaves us hanging this long if he were staying.

I think our recruiting class is going to turn out much better than it looks like now. Harsin will also get some key players from the portal. Davis and Geriner will both likely be better and more consistent than Bo. We have a program building HC; we just need to give him the time to do it.

I, too, can dream.

Congrats. I’m in your boat in a few months.

It's been incredible, just overwhelming.

I can't really give great advice but I can tell you two mistakes we made.

1- If you are getting the epidural, just get it at first signs of wife/partner/babymomma desiring comfort. We didn't need to be stressed from 1am -5am

2- Hold your baby and tell him/her you love them more than you think is necessary. You'll never get another time where they are so perfect in your life..... I promise you in 1 week you won't love them quite as much when they are filing verbal complaint cards like a baby Karen

At this point I sadly think Bo is leaving.

He knows the rumors and he could put it all to rest with one tweet.

His silence speaks volumes.

Best thing I ever heard when we were expecting: we were at a party at a friend’s house who had just had their second child, a girl. She needed a diaper change, so my friend had me do it with his supervision “Better get your first one out of the way in a low-stress environment, rather than when you’re both sleep-deprived.”

I asked him what I should expect as a first-time dad. He said “I don’t really have any advice, but I will tell you this: the very first time you hold your first-born child, you’re going to feel something you’ve never felt before - and there’s no way I can describe it to you. But when it happens, you’ll know exactly what I mean.”

At the time, I thought, yeah, ok - but when my child was born and placed in my arms for the first time, i knew he was exactly right. And I can’t possibly describe it either.

But when it happens, you’ll know what I mean.

A lot of truth there bro. I agree with you. I will add to your sentiment that you need to do than always. Even when you dont think it is necessary. There is no way to love them enough or to show them how much you love them. You just need to do so every time you feel like it.

Remember that your kids did not ask you to bring them into the world. They do not owe you anything for taking care of them and loving them. That was your choice and it is all on you as parents.

And always remember that sleep is just something you think you need in life. At some point it will be all you will do so enjoy your time while you are here. Live is short and quick.

Enjoy it, I had my first in February and it’s crazy he’s about to turn one in two months.

I now understand why folks say time flies when you have kids because this year has flown by faster than any other year in my life.

Same (February)

I won't say time flew anymore than the years tick off more quickly when you age. But it is nuts how this little needy sack of potatoes became a functioning little boy with a sense of humor, an attitude, quirks, etc. within such a short time. His mom misses him being a tiny baby (so do I at times) but I think each stage is more and more fun.

I was just thinking, that party I described in my post above was during Christmas 1996. Almost 25 years to the day if memory serves.

Enjoy these times, young dads. They go by faster than you can possibly imagine.

Gus is so lucky. He set this place on fire and got $25 million to not have to go down with it.
