There’s literally no proof of anything in regards to Harsin right? I find it odd that after a year of him being here that suddenly people realize he has a smoking hot, young assistant. Perhaps the timing is a little convenient with a new President being named and right after two big disappointments: signing day and Mason leaving.

TBH, this all seems like a social media shitstorm set off by a mad booster, pissed off media member, or a rival. fricking people are stupid. Hope Harsin sues some folks.

Might just be the one that always wanted Jimbo and is now stomping his feet playing the “I told ya so” game after the class Jimbo just reeled in.

Just a hunch

If you want to fire the guy for recruiting or losing coaches, do it for those reasons. Creating a witch hunt to save money is a bad look.

What’s the basis of a lawsuit against Auburn? Damn some of you are losing it.

What lie did I spread? The losing streak or poor recruiting?

I'm clearly referring to him getting his entire buy out if he gets fired "for cause"

Keep up

Correct. There is also no proof of booster involvement. The only thing we have is a few pissed off beat writers are jelly.

To be fair to the possibility of the situation. If you had true dirt you'd be using it as leverage to get a resignation out of Harsin. You wouldn't want to play the card publicly. That's how it works in the business world.

If the admin has been given info then they are trying to figure out whether Harsin will resign or how to fire him for cause ala Freeze. That will take some time.

I have no idea if the affair stuff is true or not. I just know if you had proof of it you wouldn't go public with the actual proof unless you had to fire for cause.

You’re not “clearly” referring to him being fired.

Doesn't really matter now. The damage is done. Harsin is badmouthing the boosters (while I agree with them letting a coach be a coach). He's ran off both coordinators and too many players have left. Even players that have tried to defend him have admitted his personality isn't likable. While a coach can win as a hardass (saban) he still has to relate to his players for the most part and he isn't doing that. His reputation is publicly damaged and that isn't going to make things better or help get players to win to make it better.

At this point the longer we wait to get rid of him the longer it takes to get the public eye off us in a bad way and start to recover.

I think he’s referring to a potential situation where these stories were made up just to fire Harsin with cause, thereby damaging his reputation.

There has to be more proof than internet rumors to fire someone with cause. Internet rumors do absolutely nothing when the rubber meets the road.

I understand but I think what he meant was a situation where someone internally put this out there to try and stir stuff up and hurt his reputation. Even if they don’t result in a firing, some really awful shite has been said about him that may make him just wanna leave anyways

Obviously we don’t know where these rumors started. But , they really hurt the reputation of Harsin as well as a young girl. If they were internally started, it’s incredibly shitty to do if it’s all untrue

So you thought I was referring to a situation where Harsin is the auburn coach sueing Auburn?

Honestly it kinda blows my mind that some of you think Auburn would really fire the guy for cause without actual proof.
