My inclination to do research while beers deep is irrelevant. I assumed you were telling the truth at face value hence Hugh complaining sbout the playcalling. . Its others calling you out telling you to relisten.

They went to great lengths to avoid passing, has to fixed asap. I get calling plays to his a weakness, but not being able to throw is bad.

I rewatched the Cal game. We had open receivers on most plays. Thorne couldn't find them. Hopefully he improves on that.

Gus 2.0

I heard those interceptions came from Freeze meddling with the playbook.

Good plays = not Freeze, bad plays = Freeze
(if were using the Gus 2.0 yardstick)

All Ga has is Brock Bowers. Those 5 star receivers didn’t pan out. If you can limit Bowers and put pressure on Beck Ga is very very beatable. Bobo’s offense doesn’t stretch the field. It’s so predictable. They ran 15 swing passes sometimes with the worst personnel groupings on the field that killed drives.

Just looking at the state of the SEC I cannot bear to torture myself with thoughts of the stars aligning for Auburn this year. Not when we are extremely far apart from being a good football team as well. This would have been the year though.

With that said, just looking at Arky last night I saw a team that looked like shite. Granted, their starting RB is out, but in week one those holes werent there either. ARKY should have been the opportunistic kind of team that takes advantage of the situation isntead of floundering with the rest of the conference considering they have many players back, and they have the same coach. I guess they are destined for mediocre. KJ Jefferson isnt him.

A&M- will be a tough environment on the road but right now their top two WRs are hurt. Does that propel Auburn over A&M? Auburn better level up their game if we are to win because competition gets kicked up a couple notches.Does anybody want to bet this game?????? Chex??? Overall A&M looks middling. They might have a team that can beat Bama but they can also lose by thirty to Bama as well.

LSU- They are beatable, but not by us. LSU in their purple drab are best fit for magic shows and circuses. If we would run the ball over them they will fold. If we want to get involved with voodoo and three pass plays at the one then we will lose.

Kentucky-Same ole same ole. 8 wins and mediocre, give them a raise.

Ole Miss- Kiffin has Ole Miss positioned nicely to take over the west with the rest of the conference stomaching a big ole plate of mediocrity. Problem is Lane Kiffin has been nothing but mediocre every since I decided to not forgive him for losing the last three games last year during the contract talks.

Moo State- Our band will play

Vanderbilt- will be tougher than Mississippi State imo. It will probably be a cold and crappy game in a stadium under renovation. We are not going to try to run the ball over them. We will figure out how many ways we can derp our once used four yard run that turned into a 4 yard pass.

Bama was more effective with Milroe. Saban is the goat but he is a sorry ahh gameday coach. All he has to do is recruit, and recruit, and recruit over those players and people will never know he is nothing but the GOAT. It is that simple.

Tennessee Shitty fanbase doesnt deserve any favor from the Gods. I hope they lose the next game as well. They are playing mediocre and trending down because their qb isnt much of a QB. And their HC looks like he is tryinng to become the masculine version of the ("WAT" toothless old lady meme)

Florida It is too early to write off Napier. As long as he recruits well for the next three years he will have plenty of leash to prove himself. If i was a betting man I'd guess he makes it to another contract but isnt anything special.

USCe- I was hoping Beamer stocked up better than that in the off season. His trajectory was going up before this season. He needs to save face, maybe plateau and prepare for the next leg up.

Missouri

Our fricking conference sucks. got damn it.

In summary, yes the SEC is way down. It is entirely possible to pick off a couple struggling but more talented teams, but if I look at the schedule I cant tell you who those teams would be. Arky looks to be a strong possibility. 7-5, Take it to the bank.

Seems like a fair question to ask now that we are in SEC play, no?

Somebody needs to do something. I don’t know who and I don’t know what, but somebody needs to change something with this team dynamic and setup or AU will be lucky to beat Vandy this year.

Not no, but HELL NO. Suggest some changes, be a little more involved, yes. But lets not start the Gus Malzahn, back and forth in mid-season. Be realistic, we need players, we need Freeze focused on recruiting better players. We hired an OC, let him do his job. It is what true leaders do.

Being realistic, Freeze's success as a head coach has come from being an elite play caller and recruiter. Now he isnt calling plays. Not saying Montgomery is a bad OC, but we need the best play caller picking the plays, yes? We as fans want the best to play and best coaches to coach etc.

We all should know this, but your assertion we have no players that could start for A&M is not very accurate.

Not in my opinion. Maybe, just maybe J. Hunter, but he has not excelled this year. You mentioned Fairweather and J. Fair. All three would play, but start? What criteria are you using? (Not recruiting rankings). You have provided zero to indicate otherwise. We are fighting the potato famine, no doubt about it. TAMU has been stacking 4 and 5 star recruits and it shows. Not sure why you want to fight, but state your opinion is fine.

So lets look at the Stats...
TAMU - Amarai Daniels, 234 yards and Le'Veon Moss (169 yards), JH has 143 (3 games vs. 4).

WR Evan Stewart (22 catches, 307 yards), Ainias Smith (272 yards), Jay Fair (184 yards), Fairweather has 101 yards.
