I'm just making the observation that Freeze was hired because of his play calling abilities and his ability to recruit.

Gus was in the same boat. He relinquished his play calling duties and the offense became stagnant.

Eventually Freeze will have to take over in my opinion

He was hired to turn around the program and make it a winner. How he achieves that is up to him. The discussion is just a little premature in my opinion.

Might it go that way, possible, but two games that are wins does not make Montgomery a failure.

Yeah second game in and calling for play calling changes. Our fans are a hoot. People don't seem to look at how many kids came in the summer and still learning the play book in these games. New offense to all of them...

Because yall are talking about Sec West Chex.

He has proven to be full of shite more often than not.

Talking heads are actually saying our recent offense doesnt look like Montgomery's offense.

Well because it isn't. Freeze told us that coming in. It would a combo. Our problem? We have new guys that really haven't had time to work together. How many play makers were in the spring game? Very Few.

I think it's too early. Let's just hope most of the wrongs got righted in practice this week, today, and more next week in practice.

I agree its too early, however, if Freeze is complaining already, its something that will show itself again down the line

Not running enough RPOs, not mixing up the play calling. It was in his press conference.

If he is already throwing his OC under the bus then he should call plays. We want the Hugh Freeze that can recruit and coach offense. Thats why we got
him. Got damn it i do not want to be stuck with the same Gus bullshite.

GFY Sec West Chex.

He isn't throwing the OC under the bus. Go listen to his pressers. stop making assumptions on what he said.

I think the play calling has been fine. It's the execution that's concerning.

its been really run heavy imo. Again, its too soon to pull the plug on Montgomery. I do believe, however that Freeze will have to take over eventually if we want to fully capitalize on our offensive capabilities.

You really need to go and accurately listen to what Freeze said. Maybe a couple of times. He is concerned with the execution and the players getting it corrected. Go listen to what he says again.
