Wouldnt you think that in a white out, you would want to be the white team?. Isnt that the big complaint on Boise's blue field when they wear matching colors?

Question for those that wore a helmet from the QB/WR position - does the white face mask have the potential to cause a visual distraction? White reflects light much more and it’s so close to the eye.

No. Uga, Florida, Clemson Texas and many others have worn white face masks fir decades. If it was an issue they wouldn’t wear them

The concern isn't wearing white facemasks all season. The concern is changing the mask color 3 games into the season on an away game of large magnitude. If the QB and receivers can handle the color change around their eyes then I'm all for it.
