So obviously you think this is the most terrible idea. Explain though, why you are so opposed to trying this out on a trial basis?
I am not advocating every Bama fan just a few, so this isn't a slippery road. If it fails we kick them out no harm done

don't get so uppity about it. I would rather have a hand full of good posters from other fanbases than a few of our Auburn posters on here. This board will only get better with the right posters from other bases that can bring good info on guys we are recruiting.
With that said, I don't give a shite either way. I am also on 247 so I have that info to go through too.

BTW, my thread about gump board access was a joke. I never wanted access to their board and do not want them on ours. I have not clicked on their board since national signing day and have no interest in it.

So all the people opposed to this idea, do any of you care to explain why doing this on a trial basis is also not acceptable?
Either you are right and you get to feel good + revert back to the way things are currently
or
You are wrong and we get a positive experience that benefits the board
So either it is status quo or positive experience. So not understanding why this experiment is getting such resistence

Getting our own separate forum was the best thing that ever happened to SEC rant.
Why do I think letting fans from other schools in the "Auburn Forum" is a terrible idea? Experience.
There are and will be Auburn fans who don't like the idea so it will turn into the rant jr. in a heartbeat.
If you can start your own forum you can invite the fans from SECrant you'd like to participate.

The problem is some of those you suggested and like 80% of the ones TT suggested have been straight up flamers in the past on a regular basis. And personally that's what the SEC recruiting board is for. You can just ignore the stupid MSU/Tenn/Arky posters and pay attention to what guys like Magilla say over there, no real reason to have them post the same stuff here IMO.
Though that being said, I wouldn't have huge issues with guys like Magilla, Robot Santa, and perhaps NATidefan posting over here, as all three are solid posters that are pretty level headed.

Completely irrelevant, but I had a guy come up to me, who knew I was a student at Auburn, and ask why they allowed me to openly wear a Bama hat.

I almost got jumped by a group of bama fans in Destin during spring break when I saw a guy with an Alabama tattoo and drunkenly said to him "Hey man nice tattoo. You must be a huge braves fan, I am too."
