Has he recovered from the devastating sniper attack at Arkansas?
I was reminded of that sad night when watching Georgia Notre Dame.
It’s odd to see UGA fans complain about the thing they did more than anyone in 2010 and 2013.

This really isn't something to joke about, Swain is lucky he can even walk today after that game.

Wasn’t it UGA that had someone running off the field and when they were a foot from the sideline the coaches basically tackled him to get him to take an injury?

I remember 2010 a UGA guy was running off and wasn't tackled but the coaches were waving him to get down and he dropped near the numbers

Did they ever catch the guy who shot him?

No.
He’s been active at several games. Seems to show up and get a shot when a team is working the ball down the field quickly. The crowd is distracted and he must use a silencer because I’ve never heard the shot, but he’s a force recon marine level sniper because he can hit a leg from distance.
The ability of the medical staff to bandage up these wounds and get guys back into the game is amazing. I guess they do transfusions and vascular surgeries in those tents on the sideline.

One of my favorite GIF’s ever.

I really hope if he ever has children (or already does) that they’ll never have to watch this horrific video.

Yes, they have done it in a few big games with not just Auburn.

Without that moment...would anyone remember anything about Swain? I know he was solid, but he is now immortal thanks to that troll decision.

If I remember correctly - I think Gus put that play in to troll fat Bert.
Bert was having his players drop on the field the week before in the name of safety and then we did that after a big play by their offense.

I keep waiting for Renaldi’s piece on him, on the brink and fought back, so inspiring

Why did you post that? It was so horrific I have to turn away every time it is talked about being shown. I stopped having nightmares about it two weeks ago. Now...........

In my time in the Corps and other branches we were always scared of this exact scenario. Whoever it is a damn fine scout sniper and we can offer nothing but thoughts and prayers to those brave kids putting their lives on the line every Saturday.
