He had quite a few schools offer once he went in the portal. I know South Carolina, Arkansas, and Penn State were some of them

Listed at 6’3, 300ish, it seems he’s thought of as guard at this level. He’s got 800+ snaps at tackle according to Pink so he’s a guy that could step in there maybe if needed. He’ll certainly compete for a guard spot

It was meant to be.

Toni Tennille was an Auburn student for two years in the late '50s/early '60s. And then in 1976 Captain & Tennille released a cover of Willis Alan Ramsey's Muskrat Love.

Not sure who he was down to, but probably Arkansas.

You answered a sarcastic question surrounding his name.

Auburn now has picked up the best tight end, tackle, nose, pass rusher in the portal.

And the best KO/PR in Battie and arguably the best Qb as well

We have essentially half of a new team. On paper it looks solid but you worry about individualism and lack of team chemistry especially early in the year. We are at 40+ new players on the roster from last season to the beginning of fall camp this season.

For me it’s what some of these new skill players can do in the SEC on offense and can our defensive front stop the run and rush the passer.

South Carolina under a second year HC got a nice influx of talent and finished the next year 8-5.

That is about where we want to be next year.

f that. I dont understand why Auburn fans have this defeatist attitude towards their own team. Like a battered wife syndrome where 5 loss seasons are good. (in b4 im a rEaliSt)

We just signed a top Qb, top skill players, revamped OL with future NFL guys and scooped up some defensive help to shore up our holes. Yet were gonna lose is the gut reaction. Instantly we are worse than any team with a pulse on our schedule. Its frickin pathetic.

.......and depth.

Hugh has improved our roster tremendously.........but we are a class or two away from being able to go toe-to-toe with bama/UGA talent wise.

We are better. We don’t know how much better. Not yet

8-5 is next step higher for a damn good first season.

Championships are the goal but it takes more than one recruiting year.
